Adoption - Have you, are you, were you?

When I first came, I was so new to forums that I couldn't find my way around. It was only after I got better that I noticed the Adoption thread. By that time, though, I thought I didn't need an adopter.

I've adopted a few folks before. But I was more like a hovering rulebook than anything supportive, so they were happy to graduate early if they hadn't already gone inactive.

Not being a newbie to forums in any way, I decided to avoid the adoption area completely. I answer any questions members ask me, but I've never felt compelled to adopt anyone.

I was adopted by Mercutio, someone who left before most of you guys came here. He made such an impression that I decided to adopt some people myself.

You only adopt girls, DD. Why is that, anyway?

You'll find that that's only the last few that have been like that. I have just as many male adoptees overall. :3

I was never adopted nor have i ever adopted anyone. I didn't need to be adopted when i signed in to ZU and i wouldn't qualify as an adoptee. I'm stupid y'know?

I love all of my former adoptees. =D Although most of them have gone inactive. =\ The only ones I know are still around are Cio and Ozzy.

I was adopted by BBD! I was excited when I was new to be adopted by such a prominent member.

And I went on to adopt two AWESOME members in Eijiro and Aiko (now Altamira).

I was adopted by storm cat/lone wolf/aerorian/whatever the hell his name is now. He was a very good adopter indeed, and I'm still in contect with him now, although we don't actually have a chance to talk much...

I've adopted a fair few people too. The ones who stick out are Marvin, Love of Zelda (both cool people) and Shana (although, I don't really think she needs an adopter, as she seems to have already established herself at the forum. )

KaRath adopted me, but I haven't talked to him in a while because I was inactive for a while.
I hope I can adopt some day too.

I was adopted by Picori Pi. Picori was/is a great friend and adopter. Plus he makes some pretty good sigs! I'm glad to have been under his wing. I was never an adoptee. Although I did feel like becoming one at one point when I was always active.

I have been adopted before, a very long time ago ,(last year),but I would like to adopt, but.... I've just never seem to get around to it.

My father was adopted when he was two.

I don't know any other people that I'm close to that were adopted.

^Are you talking about the literal thing?
