In short: I have had enough.

Full explanation: I'm leaving [for a bit]. The amount of crap that goes on in this community is so big it's not funny. There are very few decent people here - Asia, 'capn, Dom, Yami, and several others - all of which who don't act like idiots and know what they're doing. I come here day to day to discuss things the correct way, not seeing stupid people post about how much they 'kick ur momz ass.'

Ever since 2005, things have changed - ever since Lars left, this place has been treated like a hellhole. The old staff team was fine - and while I understand that many people need to leave from that position, the place still isn't handled like it used to be. Nothing is the same. What once was a great place has been turned into a pile of crap. :/

How long I'll be away is unknown - I could be a few weeks, a few months, or possibly I'll never return. I'll still be in #zelda and stuff, since that place is handled well and it's cool there. I'd like to give a thanks to some people:

Asia/Anime_Queen - Probably the biggest thanks I'm giving. Thanks for supporting me all the way through my time here. I've never had a problem with you, and face it - you're cool. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have been unbanned a few weeks ago - you were the one who got be unbanned.

Capn: Not really a thanks. But, whatever. One of the damn coolest people here, you shall never be as awesome as this man. He has a kick-ass website he owns [VGRC], posts flawlessly. If he didn't exist, ZU would probably be a hideout for dumbasses.

Necco, Crim & Reshter - Necco is here. Reshter isn't. Crim? Don't know. But these guys are awesome. Reshter helped me alot through my beginning in HTML, and now I'm even able to write my own documents in PHP + HTML and use CSS, thanks to that guy. Crim was pretty cool - I don't think anyone ever had a problem with him. And finally, Necco - he's a great person who I like to talk to. Great graphics designer, too.

Yami - Short and sweet: a great, cool guy.

The list can go on and on and on, but the sooner I leave, the better. I'm out.

Things have been deteriorating pretty rapidly around here the past few weeks. I'm surprised all out riot hasn't happened yet.

I'll probably start visiting VGRC alot more, thanks to this. Seeing as I've taken it out of my daily routine, and VGRC is really one of the only places to go, I'll be there alot.

Although I would have loved to hear your (and anyone else's) gripes about what exactly you don't like here and try to make it better, of course I can't force you to stay.

I do think I understand why Windeh is leaving. Windeh, you're a fun guy. The more good guys that leave, the more dull this forum will become. I miss the old ZU. You had to be friendly and respect the rules or else. I reported something like 5 of spartan 117's posts, but he or people like him keep coming back.

Great to see you get out while you can, as Tim said, staying here to watch our "oh so competent mod team" patrol the forum makes it all worth it.

I understand fully why you are leaving, the forums have definitely detracted greatly in quality lately. The only things you see these days are; "What are your favorite x" or "How many X do you have". It gets to a point where you can't take it anymore.
