Happy Fathers Day?

So aye, did no one do anything for their one and only Dad today?

It's a bit late (obviously), but let us know what you've done today and perhaps, perhaps we'll pick up some ideas for next year.

Adhamh senior was simple, out for a few pints of Mick Jagger and a wee blether. (The swine's birthdays on the 24th, so I'm not going daft )

uuuuugh. "unfortunately" both my parents are on holiday for the next two weeks (well, a week now) so my dad hasn't recieved his pressie.

But, saying that, I don't normally get him anything. Weak, I know, however I'm trying this year, honest!

He is begging me to get him some webspace for his own wee internet site (which, aye, he is asking me to do, pffft) so, maybe I'll work on that for him? <.<

My family saw Oceans 13 to celebrate (as the Ocean series is one of my dad's favorites). We also went to the only nice mexican restaurant in the UK and he fixed a light.

End of story. It was fun!

Oh, and we saw some planes fly over our house going to or coming from the queens big bash thing. It was quite cool.

My dad had to work, but I made him a nice card and gave it to him once he got back. Plus, I've been really nice to him. : D

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I'm buying him a DVD the next time we go to a place that sells 'em.

My dad's friend got us a card that we signed yesterday. Later on today my brother and I got him some balloons. Also, we got him a cheese cake.

I gave my Dad a card, and later will be helping to give him a pedicure, heh.

The really big thing, though, is our traditional southern breakfast. It's got biscuits (to those UK members, no, I'm not talking about cookies -- they're kind of a more savoury version of a scone ) with sausage gravy over them, bacon, and a side of sliced canteloupe. And of course a mug of coffee. ^_^ We make it every year for father's day and his birthday, and it is goooooood. <3

He worked all day, still is right now.

I made a cheap card in Photoshop and we got pizza.

Yay for 3 pizza days in 3-4 weeks.

I did all the lawn work for him this morning. Including cleaning the gutters. Oh that was fun. D:

Me, my mom, & my brother got my dad instructions on how to build his own poker table. And he made us all lunch today! This is one weird father's day. I'm sitting back and he is doing everything. (except for the yard work this morning, I now officially think weeds are the spawn of all that is evil)

Also, he loved the present! I have one strange father.

naw, my dad's like that. He cooked supper for us. I think it's in his mind to do all the cooking now.

Well, my dad is the cook of the house too. But I just find it strange that he got instructions to build his present. He also has to but the materials. And he is happy about it! And he made us lunch!

Although the lunch thing is just strange to me because dinner is the only time we really eat as a family. Otherwise it is just us all raiding the fridge or the pantry whenever we are hungry.

He got a phone call and a card.

I bought my dad an electric weed trimmer/edger and a card. After that, we had a barbecue at my granddads house. Nothing really special.

My mom, brother, and I all chipped in and got him this barbecue grill that he's been wanting for as long as I can remember. After all the gift-and-card giving, he and my brother went to an Orioles baseball game and when they came back we all went out for dinner. It was a pretty nice day altogether.

I got my dad a fathers day card and $5.

Oh, and a 52 inch flat screen plasma tv :XD

Me and the family (rather, me, him, and my older brother) went to see Disturbia, which turned out to be a very good movie. We then went out for pizza, and came home. My brother and my dad proceeded to get into a drinking contest. Tomorrow, we're going on our first road trip of the summer.
