THIS idea for the meetup spawned when ZU Veteran Nénuë announced that she was visiting the UK (London) during August 10th to 27th . In honour of this, we figured it would be brilliant if we have a much larger and bigger meetup with ZU's Dutch gentle beauty.

The date is still undecided and wILL be decided to fit in with most people's "appropriate" time. It will be in London and the current interested persons include:

I think we should give the thread a day or so for those interested to drop a line and tell us which areas they're from. That way, we can try to find the best location that would be reachable by everyone with minimal travel and effort, or is London decided?

London is pretty much decided, I believe, as it IS kinda the easiest place to get to .. and most accessible really ("all roads lead to London ^-^ )

I think I can get there within my budget so long as I hop a plane to Iceland (which, strangely enough, I am driving to next week...) and THEN hop another plane to London from THERE. It's cheaper that way, ..at least andi says it is.

Hmm, I'd need to bring one of my friends down if I were to make the journey down. And Adhamh isn't really going to a wedding - he's spending his summer in a rehab program. The road to recovery is a long one and all that .

London's a good city, it's central to a lot of services, there's plenty of activity and it has a lot of things to offer to keep a broad group of people occupied.

I would love to go, but the next couple of months are not very ideal. College, moving and stuff. I will fit a trip to London into my schedule though, if there will be a set date for the meeting.

We should seriously think about arranging this, folks. Is there an event manager around to give us some advice? I'm thinking big stuff here. Is this a get-together or a chase-SeDe-for-leaving-us thingy?
