Funny things little kids do

Do you ever wonder why little kids do funny things, like smear peanut butter in their hair and refuse to let you wipe it off? Or they look at right at you while you're telling them "No," then they smile, and then do it anyway. I have a two-year-old son, and he does all these funny things that make me say "What the heck was that all about?" Anyone here have an experience to share, like with your little brothers or sisters?

I was once babysitting a five-year-old and a two-year-old. The mom put cookies in the oven, and the five-year-old asked if they were ready. She ended our conversation by saying, "I like cookies. They make me CRAZY."

And the two-year-old is really indecisive. She picks a movie to watch, and I ask her several times if she's positive that's what she wants to watch. She says yes, but five minutes into the movie she runs off to get a new one.

They're interesting kids. :]

My fifteen month old niece will read to me. I can give her a book, and she'll look at me while making sounds like she's reading. Occasionally she'll flip a page as well.

Just recently she was taking a nap on a mat in the same room that I was playing my DS. When she eventually woke up, she turned to me and made a hissing noise. I thought that was the funniest thing, as she as she tried to get me to come over and pick her up.

I have a 9 year old step-brother who is such a sore loser he'll strip naked and say BIG MAMA everywhere. I think thats supposed to mean something and then my step-mom is on the phone (for 4 hours) and so she pays attention to herself... Crrazy family here.

My 3 year old cousin once decided that it would be funny to play with a can of spraying whip cream, and sprayed it all over the floor of the kitchen(don't ask me how he figured out it worked).
When I came home, I saw the HUGE freakin' mess he made, and he was staring at me with it still in his arms. I said "Alex, drop it!"
All he did was smile and sprayed my shoes all over! I was like "What the hell!"
But I said it in my head, can't curse around those little guys.

Nevertheless, I like little kids. They can be a lot of fun, and for some reason, they like me anyway. I don't know, guess I'm too nice.

Uh.. not too young, but the kid was little anyway. >_> 12 or 13, I guess.

At school, we were in a computer lab with permission, but other people weren't supposed to come in. This other kid comes in, sits at a computer, we tell him that he can't come in, he turns around, grins, and goes back to his computer. And we're just like ".. what?" so we keep telling him, and he does the same thing, until eventually one of the school tech guys comes in and tells him to get lost. Teeheehee.

My 2-year old's obsession with the alphabet is beyond anything I've ever seen before. I believe that most kids get attached to several franchise characters (Dora, Blue, etc), but my kid latched on to letters. It is to the extreme.

My son and husband are best friends. So now it's like I've got two 2-year olds making havoc in the house.

I'm not a big fan of kids. Never have been.

I like how impressionable young kids are. My current project is trying to get my girlfriends little sister (about 2-3 yrs old) into Nintendo, specifically Mario. She can't quite get his name right as of yet and it is quite hilarious. Bless!

Kids are fine, some of them are annoying, others aren't so bad. Mainly my family members are the annoying ones.

What the heck is that supposed to mean?

I remember my great grandfather loving kids. He'd pull me onto his lap and tickle me. That's where I get my urge to play with kids. My mom said that, unlike most kids, I wasn't inclined to run to mommy when GG started tussling with me.

Kids are funny no matter what. My son is 13 months old and he's funny when he chases my little brother's cat around the house. I also got many little cousins who are little terrorists. My favorite things to do to them are play pranks on them when the piss me off.

My little sister creeps me out sometimes. We got some carl's jr. for like the first time ever. We got my 4 year old sister some star nuggets because we thought she would like them. She saw them and did not want to eat them. We tried to explain to her that they where the same as the ones from mc Donalds, and then she goes,

"Oh, you mean these ones are stars instead of ovals like Mc Donalds?"

Or something like that. It kind of...scared me. SHe is too smart for her own good sometimes. Once she picked up my SP. I had left FFVI on, and I let her play figuring she would quit after a couple of seconds. I hear her get into a battle and I start laughing, knowing that she is going to die fast. Next thing I know, I am listening to the victory fanfare music and she is shouting Yay! It happened about 4 more times, then she quit.

Oh wow! Your four year old sister knows the difference between an oval and a star shape, and can beat four random battles on FF! She must be a prodigy.[/sarcasm]

That's not so creepy. I had a friend who was being taught how to play checkers. Her teacher was two years old.

my big sister (19 years old): she was 4,5 years old when in school she washed her hands and putted all the water things (don't know how there name is in English) open, OMG my mom and dad laughed very much about this

Ah, kids. I've 3 nephews and 3 nieces - two of the girls being a set of twins. I love them with all my heart, I really do. However, I seem to the the aunty that they all think is *mean* because I say NO often XD. They're especially humourous when they play videogames. One of my nephews constantly runs his character off the arena in SSBM - I think he thinks it's part of the game. My youngest newphew thinks Sonic is a cat and when he watches the intro for the Sonic: Mega Collection, he tries to copy all Sonic's facial expressions. They can also be veeery sore when they lose in a game, though, in all honesty, that isn't just applicable to kids, huh? XD

My youngest is also at that age where he's learnt how to say SSSHHH and NO and GO AWAY and likes to randomly say it to me, just for the hell of it. The conversastion could go something like:

"Baby, pass me the butter"
"Sssh"
"Excuse me?"
"No"
"Don't be cheeky, baby"
"Go away"
"No videogames for you?"
"SSSSHHH"
"Okay, no Nintendo"
"But, but, why?? ;-;"

Well, I do remember some silly things I did as a kid... like the time my teacher told me she was sick because she had lost her voicebox, so I spent my lunch hour looking for it. I wanted a gold star XD.

Once, when I was about four years old, I went with a bunch of kids my age to this SAFETY TOWN class thing, where you learn things like how to safely cross streets, don't talk to strangers, and don't call the 911 unless it's an emergency. Well, guess what I decided to do when I got home? I called 911 because "I wanted to say hello" and the police came to my house and had to explain to me about the seriousness of the situation. I learned my lesson after that, but my parents were furious with me.

Ah, when I was two, I refused to be potty trained. This doesn't seem funny, but the thing is that it's not that I wasn't fully capable, because I would use the toilet to urinate. I just didn't mind the lump in my pants, it was a control issue I won. They stopped pushing, so I decided I had won and started defectating in the toilet.

A while back when I was helping out in the nurse's office, I had the oddest conversation with this little boy.
Boy - "You're beautiful."
Me - 'Why thank you!"
Boy - "You're a princess."
Me - "Why thank you again."
Boy - "I'm going to marry you some day."
Me - *speechless* "Um...I believe your class is leaving now. You better get with them."

He was like 4 or 5. Kind of creeped me out a little bit there.
