God or Jesus? You dont see him helping out people with miracles and he also revealed how to do some of the crazy crap that he does. However there are some unexplainable things that he has done. If they're not set-up tricks then he id the devil! The devil I tell you!

Everything Criss Angel does is either an illusion or an athletic feat, such as getting himself out of a strait jacket with his ankles tied to a chain dangling above the sweet earth in less then 5 min.

He is awesome I must say, but it is all made by professionals..

The thing I dislike about Criss Angel is that, despite the fact that he sells instructional videos, he claims that he can perform the unexplainable. He makes his magic seem like something that should be taken extremely seriously. Furthermore, many of his tricks (a great deal of which are edited after being filmed) aren't as interesting as those of more humble magicians.

And his hypnosis needs some serious work. I could go on to point out some of the flaws with supposedly putting an entire room under in one go, but I don't think I need to.

He goes by illusions, tricks and severe training. Put those together and you can fool anyone, especially through a camera. I'm not saying I don't like him, I've seen every episode of the TV show made, I just know for a fact he isn't God or Jesus, there are more people out there that are better than him; he isn't that good because he gives talent away to have publicity, being a public icon breaks your connection with channeling all that energy, hence why he only goes so far in his show. Try meeting one of those people who have been doing this for at least 40 years and watch what they can do.

Criss Angel is really just another magician. Although, admittedly, he's probably one of the best, and probably second only to David Copperfield.

I love the tricks he does they're so fun to watch but it Is all fake. I just don't know how they make it so convincing because it seems so real. All I have to say is he's a very talented magician and probably best ever.

Some of his tricks are good, but i do notice some of the same people in all his videos, like audience sort of people there is always 1 person the same...

Hmm strange... But my friend says Chris Angel is a joke and all his tricks are fake, but myself i am not quite sure.

Don't be fooled, not everything he does is fake.

Either way, he explains most in his book that he released a few weeks ago.

Of course everything he does is fake. He's an illusionist, after all. What should be noted, however, is that many of his tricks are so obnoxiously exaggerated that it ruins the effect. I'll bring up his hypnosis again, because it's just that terrible. People walk by him on the street and he walks up to them, snaps his fingers, and tells them to sleep. And they do. Which is proof right there that he hires volunteers ahead of time for his videos.

That's not a crime. A lot of magicians do it. But nowadays, such things are much more obvious to the audience, and it's up to the magicians to come up with more creative ways of pulling off tricks.

Everything he does is fake in my book.

I'm so tired of him. Hes cool and all, but there was a point where he was everywhere and he wouldn't go away.

But when I was all into this stuff, I found him entertaining.

He's a really good magician but I don't think he is so diferent than us.

I like David Blaine better

I'm not sure about all the stuff he does. Most is an illusion as he says and reveals. Some like the smaller things he does are more unexplainable. i'm not sure how to explain a lot of his stuff.

In one episode though its said that he has trained his mind extensevly to be able to concentrate and do stuff normal people cant. Hes definatly a master of his mind and body. I'm not saying hes actually doing magic, but an illusion. See, he does stuff that untrained minds (us) cant comprehend. We just assume magic cause our mind cant explain it so our imagination assumes things. Like ghosts for ex. when its dark and you hear something an your scared, unless if u train to be cool headed, you usually jump to a concluion like a ghost or monster. Like when u were a kid, the boogyman, monster in the closet/under bed, all things our minds think up. I've learned over time that, as humans we want answers to everything. We need to have some kind of rationalization because we fear the unknown and want understanding. Thats how are imaginization is so amazing cause of all the things it can trick us in believing in. Hell, the greeks (i think) said planets were gods, just an easy way to explain. Sightings in the sky? UFO! UFO! Aliens! Our minds are amzing that way.

Anyway back to Criss.......

Like in things he shows on tv, he says he makes you concentrate on something else and tricks your eyes into seeing something that would be supernatural, but isnt. But his mind i beleive is very well trained. The hanging from a helicopter by hooks cant be fake. He just fights through pain. He can tap into natural mind skills to have a higher control/understanding of his mind and body. He freaks your mind, thats why hes a mindfreak.

He is a great entertainer and illusionist. He is pretty fun to watch. I actually enjoy trying to find how he does his stuff. Instead of just saying its fake its fun to rationalize what hes doin. He calls himself an illusionist, that doesnt mean he really does magical stuff it means he tricks your eye like i said before.

So hes not a fake, saying hes a fake is saying that he isnt performing illusions. since when does mindfreak mean magical stuff? It has to do with the mind and freaking out the mind. Jeez the def. is on the intro to the show.

thats 1 def. heres moreUrban Dictionary: mindfreakso dont say hes fake hes not. He's just entertaining you to see cool stuff, I think it takes a lot of skill to do those illusions and make them look as good as they do.

His tricks are pretty cool, but frankly he acts like an idiot and it completely kills his act.

I say that he sold his soul to the devil to keep his dad from dying and he somehow got powers and now he uses them for entertainment, even though he still owes the devil. Don't trust me though

I think the same way. Criss Angel is one of the most talented and best magicians on the face of the earth, second to Copperfield. A lot of the things he does are, simply put, amazing. However, some things he does are quite unbelievable, as in they are exxagerated enough to be deemed fake. To me, there's no such thing as fake (or real) when it comes to magic. It's an illusion. It's supposed to be something that amazes people, something we can't comprehend (like CJB has said). It's not for people to look down upon it and make them say it's fake.

I have a friend like that who says every illusion that's done is fake (not just Criss'), and he pisses me off with his skepticism (skepticism is good), especially when he tries to prove it wrong and lie about it (lying and trying to prove it wrong is bad). I told him about David Copperfield, and he quickly says it's fake. How would he know? He's never any of the guy's illusions performed. He can't say they're fake because they sound impossible. It's something he can do that normal people can't do.

But I still think Copperfield is a better illusionist compared to Criss Angel, no doubt about that.

Unfortunately that's true, but he doesn't act like an idiot all the time though.

In one, he cut himself in half... HE DIDN'T BLEED! No one in the audience realized this. It was so pathetic.
