body mods

What body mods (tattoos, piercings, brandings, implants, scars, ect.) do you have or plan to to have? Is there any that you don't plan to pursue, but would still like to have?

Right now I don't have anything. I've never even had a little piercing.

Although I like to think of myself as a hardcore badass, I'm actually a wuss. I don't plan to get any piercings. Not because I'm scared of the pain, I'm scared of the possible disfiguring complications that might develop afterwards. I've seen friends that have had piercings migrate or get infected. One of my sister's friends had to undergo plastic surgery because his septum piercing left him with a mononostril.

Seeing that mononostril was just too much for me, I'll avoid piercings like the plague for the rest of my life because of it. At least facial piercings.

However, I don't have problems with tattoos. Even though I myself don't have one, I'm quite familiar with them. I've read plenty on them-- Everything from the prison tattoo customs of white supremacist and Chicano gangs, Japanese back tattoos, the introduced of tattoos to Europe by sailors that visited Pacific societies, lots of stuff. But there is still a whole lot more I don't know about.

I look forward to turning 18 and being able to get my first tattoo. Although I could easily give myself a ghetto one right now with a safety pin and a bottle of india ink, I plan to get all mine done by professionals. I can be patient.

This tattoo (a cross between white zombie logo and public enemy) was done with nothing more than a sewing needle, fountain pen ink and a soda can. I know this guy from another forum. Not bad, huh?

Right now I'm eyeballing a pencil on my desk. While writing up this thread I've been tempted to give myself a graphite Samoan tattoo by stabbing myself with it repeatedly.

*throws the pencil across the room*

Anyways, these are the tattoos I plan to get:

Rainbow Brite on the back of my calf. Aw yeah, that will prove to the world just how hardcore I am. \m/^_^\m/
Starlite and Twink will be pink instead of white, however. Don't think I'm joking, I'm dead serious about getting this.


Dr. Nners of Deadsy logo on the other calf.


A Deadsy chain bracelet (left wrist), I want it to be black and yellow


A large skinny puppy logo in the middle of my chest. I want it to be black.


And finally, Link holding up a piece of the Triforce on my left shoulder.


These are all the things I want now, I'm sure I'll get plenty of others.

I don't have any body art, nor do I plan on getting any in the future. When I'm applying for my job, I don't want to look like an idiot. Not that there's anything idiotic about tattoos, but they simply don't look good when you're older, and removal is expensive (and painful).

Tattooee is one of the two only words in the English language with three consecutive double letters. Whoever knows the other gets a million dollars!*

I have pierced ears, but thats about as far on the wild side things are going to get for me. Its impossible to get a job that pays more than minimum wage if you have a tatoo thats exposed.... and arent those the only ones worth getting?

I have no interest in body modification of any kind.

However, I have nothing against other people wanting them.

I share similiar fears, that's why the tats I plan to get will all be in places that could easily be hid with clothes.

The most hardcore body mod I'd ever consider getting would be a surface piercing with laces. It would look similiar to the cover art of Orgy's Stitches CD single.



Although surface piercing is probably the most risky body mod, it also happens to look the coolest. If I ever build up enough courage and find an artist that's able to do it, I just might get one on my shoulder. I wish I had some pictures of surface piercing with laces, I've only seen one picture of it before, but I can't seem to find it again. It was amazing.

I have never fancied tatoos.. Some tatoos look cool, but I just don't like the idea of them..
When I was a kid I prmoised myself I would never get one, so I will try to keep that promise.. if not I have to transfer all the money I want from myself to my bankkonto, all what I dont want, I can keep..

No tatoos or piercings for me. I wouldn't want to get to a point where they get into bad shape, and the job thing is another one. They look cool and all, but they really have no use for me. Plus, I hate needles...

No drastical things for me; two ear pericings, one on each ear. Seldone have any earings in thgouh, rather uncomfterable..

Tattoos on your hand will end up looking really, really horrible as you grow older, and eventually it will look like a stretched out, discolored blob. And, assuming it is possible to remove it at all, it would be a painful experience.

Someone told me I should dye my hair pink once, and I had a friend spray it for me, and it looked pretty good, but what I'd want is deep blue highlights, which is against my dress-code and would be really hard, since my hair is nearly black anyways, but I think it'd look cool. But that's as different as I'll get.

and i only have my ears pierced (once each, in the lobe) - i got them as a first communion present, and cried as soon as i got in the car home and got lots of ice cream to distract the poor ickle me from the pain... ^^

the tattoo with the laces is actually really cool, and if i weren't a wuss who liked their body the way it is, i'd probably get it around my wrist or upper arm... i'd love a little kokiri emerald shape design (minus the emerald) on the back of my shoulder or my tailbone, though, but i can't imagine myself ever getting one... ^^

I was able to score some pictures of this rare type of surface piercing. It's called surface weaving. After viewing over these pictures, I've decided that I must have one of these. I don't care about the health risks, I'll take the first opportunity I can to get one. Or if I can get more information on it and obtain the tools, I'll do it myself.

I got all my piercings my own reasons, well actually the reasons had something to do with the opposite sex. I got one in my left ear, one on my lower lip, one on my tounge , and I'm thinking nipples, but I'm not sure. I'm getting a few tatoos soon as well, two celtic chains completely around my arm, none of that half arm pussy ********, and a celtic design on my upper back with a cross in the center, and when some one very special to me passes away a memorial on my chest just above my heart.

Well, if hair coloring counts... I used to have naturally blonde hair. It has since changed into a light brown, or occasioanlly just plain brown... depends on how clean it is

I would not mind dying my hair back to a blonde color.
