100 dead kittens found floating in port in the Yamaguchi prefecture. WTF is going on?! Who the hell would want to kill so many innocent kittens?! I am sad now.

Population control? Im not trying to justify it just understand it. I mean people in the past have killed (and eradicated) animals like this but it usually had a reason (valid or not) this is just really random

Rofl at Hazz, but still, that's awful news. What the hell, what kind of need was there for the people responsible to go and do that to 100 kittens? Probably either some backyard breeders trying to discard evidence or somebody with too many kittens to handle. Nasty stuff. Even if it was population control, drowning them is not the way to go. Big contamination risks for water like that. Needless cruelty is all that is. I hope the people responsible are caught too.

If it's one thing I can't stand, that is animal cruelty. This reminds me of something Ricky Gjervais said in an interview about bullfighting, in which he said something along the lines of:

"It isn't fair when that bull is attacked by spears and swords, they should throw the bullfighter with only one of them Viking helmets with horns, see how he gets out of that one."

It's a shame that this has happened, I hope they find the person who did this.

I wonder who did it. If it was an animal farmer trying to cover up traces, he didn't do a very good job of it. Also, drowing 100 of them just to make sure you don't get locked up is uncalled for. I hope they find the killer.

This sounds kinda hoaxish. 100+ Kittens? Where does a person get that many cats?

Well, what a nice sick morbid world we live in. I, personally, am a huge cat fan. I have a couple of my own, and reading something like this appauls me. People like that deserve to be shot.

I hope the b/tch who did that goes to hell! That makes me sick. Who would want to do anything to those poor defensless kittens? Animal's have right to! That's so mean.

You know, the thing that really upsets me?
The fact that the police is trying to find this animal killer while there are lots of psycho's out there, and they know it.

You piss me off. :] I love my cat, and I'm really touchy when it comes to them. As others probably are.

I can't believe that happened. That really makes me angry. Kittens are just innocent...jeez...this is upsetting me.

As others have suggested, this act is the height of malevolence and should be condemned unanimously. What depraved villain would destroy life on such a mass scale? Unfortunately, the culprit may very well get away with this despicable crime, never to be brought to justice as he or she most definitely should be. At any rate, this particular news development is especially disquieting to me as I have a little kitty of my own who I love dearly. I will be sure to hug my sweet little Raven just a little bit longer than usual tonight.
