Preferences of taste! All the flavours of the rainbow.

Basically, what kinds of flavours do you prefer? We all know that preference of taste can change in due time, and I was wondering if anyone had any 'major' changes during their life. I used to prefer all kinds of sweet things when I was younger, but as I grew older, I grew to like sweet things less and less and began to prefer and enjoy savoury and spicy food more instead. What say you?

I'd agree. When I was younger, I used to like the insanely sweet things and candy and things like that.
I now prefer now spicy foods, foods th at have a blend of flavours mixed to create an interesting taste.

Now my mouth is watering.

Sour's for me! I like war-heads. But because I ate so many when I was little, I can't taste sour stuff anymore!

You know, honestly, it all depends on what kind of "mood" I'm in..
Lately, I've actually been wanting salty thing... like salt and vinegar chips... which is a flavor I used to hate, but now I really really like.
Go figure.

So I guess it depends.

I rather like Spicy foods. It wakes up my tongue. Yummy. But, if I'm in the right attitude, maybe sweet, but not too much, then it just makes me sick. I used to like sour things, but not so much anymore.

Sour for me. I hate both spicy and sweet foods. Well, sometimes I can stand sweet foods, but not if they're too sweet. Very sweet food makes me feel sick to my stomach. But I loooove sour food. Except saurkraut. Ick.

I'm not sure what kind of taste bitter or savoury is.

I'm partial to savory (for regular foods and snacks) or sour (for candies) flavors, but occasionally I'll feel in the mood for something I generally consider overly-sweet, like milk chocolate.

I've learned in AP Psych earlier this year that your tastes buds grow less sensitive over the years, and that's supposed to account for your change in tastes, or as some say, acquiring an "adult's sense of taste". That's also why babies eat such mild-tasting food--if they were to eat what we normally do, their taste buds would be overwhelmed.

Savory is more like a salty flavor, and bitter is like--have you ever had sushi with seaweed, or maybe just some extra dark chocolate? Both of those are good examples of that taste.

Salty. But I also like sour. Mmm, Warheads. :D

I like sweet food, but not as much as I did when I was little, 'cos they seem to hurt my teeth if they're too sweet. Like, I tried one of my niece's little white chocolate bunnies that she had for easter (I'm not mean, her Mum said I could have one >.>...), but it was so sweet that my teeth started throbbing.

But now I'm starting to love sour foods that really make your mouth water. Nice

Although my true love is sour. I honestly can't get enough of it.

Well, I enjoy salty quite a lot. Hm... salty... but, since it wasn't up there and I didn't want to choose other, I chose spicy. Why? Because I love spicy food. I love habaneros! :3

I like all flavours, at different times and occasions. It's impossible to just pick a single one.

I use to be married to candy, now I like savoury or spicy. Sweet is good every once in a while but after I eat something too sweet, or too many sweets I feel sick.
