Would a prospective (I don't even know if that's the word that I'm looking for, but you know what, I'm just gonna go with it, 'cos that's how we *grow* as people!) meet-up have to be centered around a major event of expo?

It's just that, in a city like London there's so much to do anyway.

As for a major event thing, the reason I thought it was more suitable for a bigger slice of ZU'ers is this whole stigma against "PPL ON INTERNET R PEDO!" sentiment. If it was already a public event, it would perhaps be easier for, especially the *younger* ZU'ers to attend (with parents/relatives etc) and there would hopefully be less of a fear surrounding the prospect. It won't be "dodgy" from the point of view of parents is what I'm getting at.

I don't know.. we're open to ideas. So, if you have suggestions etc - would love to hear them! =)

An open day return would kinda cost double what I was planning to do, so I don't really wan't to go that route. I could try buying a pair of singles on the train instead, but I'm not sure how much it would cost...

The funny thing is that when I compare the size of Aussie-land to the UK, I realise it would be much MUCH harder for you guys to be within realistic distance of each other for a viable large-ish meet-up.
