The creator of OoT2D...dead?!

Of course, seeing as April Folls jokes on the Internet are launcehd 2 weeks in advance or so, I have my doubts. I'll give my pity when April 2nd passes and the death is verified.

I really hope it isnt true. 15 is so young, his life had barly even begun. =/

Now firstly my respect goes out to does who mourn over the loss, his family, friends, supporters and others who knew him.

It is still a week untill april fools, I mean it used to be the way to make the joke ON april fools. Not to tell that you made a joke 2 weeks earlier...
Especially dead jokes, those are very wrong.

The thing which bothers me, your loved one just died and the first thing you worry about is his site with his beloved project on it? The last thing I would think about is the internet...

So I do have some doubts, personally I hope I don't die around april fools. Because one way or the other it will bring major discussion.

If you were here a year ago for the April Fools joke, then you would understand just how April Fools jokes can usually be activated weel before April Fools comes.

Plus, this is the Internet after all, jokes have limitless possiblities. Not to mention, faking your dead is a classic way to get fame.

Ah yes I had a lot of fun last year, almost got banned wasn't it for some really nice people here , but last years wasn't believable if it was just on April fool's itself. Also saying you will release something on the 1st of April is fine as well. But making the joke a week before and then say it was a joke on April fool's is missing the point I think. The joke itself still should be on the 1st of April.

And ofcourse many artists got famous after their deaths.

I don't want to sound harsh, or crass... because I sincerely do give out my condolences if he indeed passed away...

But again, some local news agency would pick up on this, because a teenage boy died. That's a tragedy, and that means more ratings. The news media loves to report bad news. Some sort of official news story, or *blip*, would be out there somewhere, if this was all true.



I'm not going to go on about it, because it's just a touchy subject. R.I.P if indeed true, but I am one among the skeptics.

Just because a person died, that doesn't mean their death is reported immediately or in some sort of widely-circulated media. For all we know, it made the front page of his local paper, but never got anywhere beyond that. :/

Also, considering his age, his family might have chosen to withhold his name, even if his death *was* well-publicized enough for us to find it easily on a google search...

All this reminds me of the Bahamut incident...

If this is in fact true, then I give my condolences.

Ill just say: Condolences to friends and family if its indeed true.

Personal opinion: For reasons stated already, i just don't believe it. But it wouldn't be the first time i was proven wrong.

It doesn't need to be April Fools to fake ones death.

After all, look how many times good 'ol Ked faked his death!

One time, on a board I went to back in 2004, some girl faked having gotten into a car crash, and made a new account saying she was her friend and that anyone nearby was invited to her funeral, at a date not mentioned, at a place nobody knew about.

She then fell into obscurity, but the thread, it was glorious.

Point in mention, they do tend to choose car accidents when they fake death. People need to choose more colorful things, like gang wars and parental abuse.

I can't find anything online about the guy. The problem is, his name is too common, and Melbourne is such a big city. I've looked up information about people in smaller cities with quirkier names. I suppose this information is lost unless someone picked up the local newspaper from Melbourne and actively searched for something to do with this guy. It's kind of sad that faking his own death was the first thing I thought of when I heard this, but on the internet, people will do crazy things.

I was skeptical from the beginning. Faking your death must be fun. I should try it one day.

ggrrrr... It makes me really mad when people do things like this, faking their death in car crashes. I knew someone that died in a car crash...
