Yep, it's practically winter here!!! Over te course of last night the East Coast has gotten nearly a foot of snow here and it's continually coming down. I went to church this morning, went to get a christmas tree, and was sholeving outside before. I swear though, the snow is comingdown so much that after 15-20 minutes, the ground's got almost half an inch on it.
It's nuts!! But I love it!!! Go snow!!! ^_^

You might expect it to snow alot in the north west. Although it just turns to rain cause it rains alot up here. ts raining right now. Although I haven't had a snow day or a good amount of snow for a couple of years. The east is where it snows alot. I can't wai until it does cause my mom bought me a bunch of snow things like a pratice snowboard and an intertube. So I can't wait to try them.
Originally posted by SearanoX Thanks for the stereotype-insertion, OKO. Canada is a colder country than the US, but nobody lives where it's cold. In fact, 90% of the population lives parallel to the US border.
Trust me, where I am, it's no colder than New York. Unless you're living in Nunavut (a.k.a., near the North Pole) then it's no colder than most of the United States. It's only down south when you start to see differences.
Just dispelling a rumor, here. Move along.
Really, Outside of the Tronto area, and the west coast, most of Canada does get damn cold. I'm only 4 hours from you and it get's damn cold here, as it does in all of Quebec, and the Praries.
Canada extends further than Toronto, y'know.
it's buffalo new york, cause of the lake effect snow, and the warm fronts come from canada, so we get hit harder than they do... but now cause of this.... I lose about 4 days out of my availabilty at work.... (I walk...) so Insted of gettin hit by a car.. I'll wait till the days I have a ride... heheh
Yeah I live in NH and that last snow storm should have gotten me a delay from school. But nooooo my stupid town had to be in a hole in the storm and miss a few inches of snow! I was so pissed all the towns around mine got a delay, and their were a lot of delays for other towns on the news channel. Well the rain took out a lot of the snow, but we got a big sleet/snow storm tonight and it's Sunday night and we are supposed to get 6-10 inches over night and then 1-2 more during the day. So dudes if I don't get a delay or out of school I'm going to be pissed beyond belief.
