Aggrivating Moments in Life
I've been trying to think of instances where I was severely embarassed, but I can only think of things that made me mad....so on to that, then! So, what has life handed you that caused you to scowl and clench your fist?
For me, one example is from fifth grade (yes, I still am fed up with it). We were doing some multiplication between numbers with 2 digits, or...something like that, and the teacher showed us this method of how to do it that simplified the entire process...but it didn't work past 20. So here were all these kids that could quickly do the teens, but were slow on numbers past that...and I felt that there was surely a way to make the 20s just as easy. So I sat in class writing on the chalk board during my free time, working over these problems and this procedure...and I finally figured it out! I found out how to do the simple method with numbers past 20! So I ran to the teacher, and I showed her how to do it past 20, past 30, and so on.....and she just blew me off. She didn't care that I had improved her method and had made it simpler for students to quickly do multiplication problems...So yeah, she pretty much ticked me off, and I stopped caring about the simple method...In fact, I'm pretty sure that because of that (along with all the other crap this teacher and class did to me) I lost my will to learn, and just started going to school out of legal obligation. Way to go Teach, huh? Anyway, I've ranted long enough. Your turn.

When I make silly mistakes on tests and end up failing because of them. -_-

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
That happened to me a few times, but I didn't fail. Or when teachers say "The test isn't necessarily hard, it's just that you have a really short amount of time." Then they give a hard test with no time.

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
It pisses me off when stupid people are proud of themselves because they read a line in a book. I HATE 3rd period because there is at least two retarded (please, mods don't be mad at me, they actually are retarded in the non-derrogitory term) who can't read.

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
I have aggrivation about 15 hours out of 24 hours in a day, most of it comes from work. So, yeah, theres not just *one* aggrivated moment in my life. But to pin point an exact moment would be hard, considering I work with stupid people just about all day.
But the most aggrivated moment that takes the cake in my work comes from someone that has worked with me for the past six months. I mean, she's nice and does a good job working BUT she acts like she has been working there for a lot longer then she has, which is the same six months I've mentioned above. Now, I've been working for Company X for the past, oh I dunno, five years and have more then enough experiance to back myself up. This moment happened just before Halloween of this year. The lady in question and I were working on our usual crap the management has us do just about every week, if not bi-weekly. I have been doing the same thing since this summer and have been told to do that just about the same every week, if possible. To make a long story short, this woman says that the way I've been doing it is not the right way and the last time I did it involved too much work. Her way was better and proceeded to do it like so, so unlike what a manager had told me to do the week before. I'll be the first to say that I am rather rude when it come right down to it and probably deserved it. But I am so someone who doesn't take it easy when another person questions my work habits and not give me something to improve by. However, due to the fact that I need this job in order to survive, I didn't say a word and continued working as I always have. That's probably the only clear thing I can give without giving any more details out.

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
Moments of bleh:
When people use the word "lol", in a serious way. It's ok if you're joking, that's fine, but if you really intend to mark laughter as el oh el, then grr. When my cousin decieved me, lied to my face several times, and caused me so much pain that I...ugh, never mind. When my mother is screaming at me, and she won't hush. Especially if it's about nothing. She complains far more that she needs to. The fact that everything I see/hear reminds me of HIM, and I can't be with him. ;_; Evan... When I can't seem to get down a proper looking picture with my pencil. I mean, come on! Especially when I can't seem to get my art done right in Adv. Art class. That's infuriating. etc, etc... |

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
Well, like I said, it was that along with a bunch of crap that got thrown at me. One (minor) example was this huge arguement with her over me putting a "wrong" answer on a test. It was a math test, and the answer for the problem was 5. What did I put? 5, of course. It got counted wrong, though, because the girl grading and the teacher both thought I put S....on a math test....you know, with numbers, instead of letters...
Anyway, that was just a minor example...but that along with a bunch of crap (including working on a formula and not getting recognition for it) was just enough for a fifth grader to say, "This blows. I'm tired of it." It wasn't until 8th grade, though, that I just stopped caring about doing work....ah well, I graduated early, so there's no trouble from any of it.

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
When I finally realised this 'friend' I had wasn't my friend. She just hung out with me because she liked my best friend, and that really pissed me off... not only because she treated me like crap, but it took me so long to realise what she was doing to me. I felt stupid and used and... ugh... that really got me angry.

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
My friend aggravates me big time. He wont listen to a thing me or may other good friends say. He likes to talk about himself a lot and thinks that no one cares about him, especially his family. He complains about everything. Then he goes and says he is a good person because he doesn't complain about anything. Then he will say crap that contradicts something he said earlier and we try to tell him, but he wont listen.

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
Okay I get aggrivated when:
1. People say crap about me behind my back 2. People cheat to win and get away with it, then brag 3. Everyone who trys to tell me how to live my life 4. People criticizing me when I didnt ask for their opinion 5. "Playas" Get anygirl they want, to that I say go rot in hell! (Then they try to act all cool....I hope they get what they deserve...) Those are five things off the top of my head that really aggrivate me. Worse is that they happen more often then naught.....

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
There is a kid I know that I'm convinced is completely evil. He was kicking around an empty deodorant can everywhere like the obnoxious jerk he is. He winds up for a huge kick and this can lands at the back of a passing kid that he dosen't even know. All he can do is bust out laughing while the kid just casually creeps away. Later, we got a free period and for like half an hour, he shot spitballs at random kids. Things like that - doing asanine things to complete starngers always gets to me.

Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
In grade 8 (that being last year), math was my best subject, seeing as how I did very well in math (90 and up). The stupid part of it all was that I got 75 and lower (I even got a 58). I asked her why I got so low after getting so well on my tests, and she said that I didn't do so well. So I looked back at all my tests and work, and I saw 90+ work. WTF WAS HER PROBLEM?!?! CAN'T SHE JUST BE FAIR IN GIVING MARKS AND GIVE ME THE DAMNED 90+ MARK ON MY REPORT CARD?!?! I guess I will never know...
Ever since a year or two ago, I have promised myself to be very gentleman-like to women, seeing as how I always want to be nice. Anyways, what bothers me is that guys treat them like crap, doing all this nasty stuff (not to mention perverted things, such as ass-grabbing and such) to them, and I get pissed off. Then one guy says to flirt a little. I know how to flirt, but being a pervert and grabbing a girl's ass is no flirting. GOD IT PISSES ME OFF SO MUCH< I WANT TO KILL THOSE BASTARDS!?!? (am I being too angry about this?) And there's this kid, who is in my gym class, who people call gay. I, for one, don't see him much as gay (although there is proof, and it is debatable), he has the worst attitude I have ever seen. In the change room, for example, I put my stuff in a corner, which he calls "his spot," and just throws my stuff away, putting his stuff in "his spot." That is sooo stupid. And then when we were playing volleyball, he says that I suck b***s (which I admit is true. I don't play sports, I do Martial Arts). He serves, he doesn't even hit the ball with his hands. He goes for the ball, ball doesn't get touched (he even let one go and hit him on the head, WHEN HE WAS LOOKING AT IT!) He sucks more b***s than me! (sorry for the profanity I am using). Man why does stuff like this happen to me? I don't deserve to deal with a huge @$$hole right now. Too many things on my mind as it is, no more problems needed now! That's about all of it for now... Re: Aggrivating Moments in Life
Godsmack'd, the world is made up of lots people. 90% of them are *******s. I know exactly where you're coming from, and I've found that the best thing to do is ignore these people and take pride in knowing that you will never be like them. Pointing and laughing at their idiocy with friends also helps. =]
