Special effect contact lenses.
Click right here.
Its so weird... It even has Kakashi's sharingan contact lenses. And jaws, that look like this. There is even flames, and the double iris. You can even buy them, yes, buy them. My bro found this site by ask.com. I just wanted to know what you think about these odd contact lenses. NOTE: If you want to buy some, they are very expensive. Example: The "Double Iris" Contact lens is $135.00 For ONE contact lens.

Re: Special effect contact lenses.
A friend of mine has some of those. They make her eyes look icy. She wears them, and she looks like one of those evil dolls.
I've always been intested in them, just how they're made and such, but I would never wear them. Why would you cover a natural eye color with some disgusting zombie lens? It makes no sense. In my opinion, people who wear such things in everyday life are just weird. But of course, my friend is weird. |

Re: Special effect contact lenses.
I think those things would be AWESOME for Halloween. I don't go trick-or-treating, but I could DEFINATELY scare those little kids that come to my door out of their minds! xD
Hellhound, Flames, Caiman, and Demon are definately cool. I just can't believe how EXPENSIVE they are. *shudders*

Re: Special effect contact lenses.
My opinon to the contact lenses are actualy neat to me. I'd wear the Kakashi sharingan all the time. But, I wouldn't wear them for better sight, as a matter of fact, there not made for sight, there made for movies and that kind of stuff. I'd definatly bring it to school, wear it, close that eye, and rub it, and say to your friend "is my eye ok?" and then open. It would make them faint, maybe.(using the "Dead Eye" contact lens)
To my opinion, there pretty cool. But thats only for pranks.

Re: Special effect contact lenses.
These are most probably non-prescription.
And I have to say; What an expensieve waste of time. Half of the contacts there blind you - they completely vocer your pupil, and make you quite literally blind. Oh - so awesome they must be! [/sacarsm] |

Re: Special effect contact lenses.
Yeah I agree with SD most of those contacts do blind you and they could because they're non-perscription. They had one that every time you blink they change colors but those caused people to be blind. Yeah if you want some "miracle" contacts I have some. There called ortho-k contacts, all I do is put them in at night and I wake up in the morning and I take them out and I can see 20/20 the rest of the day. Those are truely amazing, though they do cost around $800.

If they're non-prescription, they won't affect your vision at all, it's the equivelent of having plain glass in a pair of glasses frames. They won't blind you if they're non-prescription. They'll blind you, since the contact covers your pupil with an opaque colour, so no light can enter it, like with the 'blind eye' or the 'Cataract' contact lenses. That's why they blind you. As soon as you take them out, you cansee again. However, Scleral contact lenses stop oxygen from reaching your eye, and you can develop temporary, and even permanent blindness as a result. |

Yes, yes, because glasses cannot be stylish in anyway.

Re: Special effect contact lenses.
They look cool but I wouldn't spend that much on them, I've been pretty scared of Contact lenses as I've heard one too many stories about the contact lenses being misplaced and going up someones eye or something. The mirror and blind lenses look pretty cool....oh well, I'm not risking my eyes that much *puts on aviators*.

Re: Special effect contact lenses.
Here's a pic of me with my white lenses I had last year..
http://vampirefreaks.com/picview.php...&g=1&s=0&fid=0 I had them for half a year and usually only had one on my left eye (was very inspired by Marilyn Manson..) They cost me about 60dollars and I wouldnt spend my money on it again, even though it was quite fun. Did scare a lot of people with those. I actually started a trend at my school A lot of people followed me and bought lenses of their own afterwards. If you're thinking about buying lenses I recommend to go to proffesionals and get proper training in putting on and removing lenses first. I went to a store that sold glasses and lenses and asked for white lenses. They ordered them for me and then they checked my eyes and made sure I got lenses that was specially shaped for my eyes (non-prescription). |

Re: Special effect contact lenses.
Indeed, and don't forget to disinfect. It's amazing that such thing is common sense and still there are quite a few people with their eyes infected due to poor sanitization of their lenses.
