Re: Deceased Friends and Family
Gosh... I don't really realise how bad you must feel, I can just try to think about it... was he or she a friend of yours?

Re: Deceased Friends and Family
When I was in middle school a kid died of some kind of disease. We had a fundraiser for the family because their insurance coverage was dropped because of it for some reason. I don't remember much about it, and since it happened I don't think anyone else does either. Nobody really knew the kid.
A more vivid memory, someone was killed down by a car wash place near where I live. He went to my rival high school. It was pretty sad, to see how people reacted to that was different. He was in the paper and was greatly remembered by everyone including his girlfriend (that must be horrible for her). Two very different stories, same thing.

Re: Deceased Friends and Family
I don't really ever feel much sympathy for a stranger who died, espically if their story is being whored around by others. Seriously, if a loved one close to has died, share the sympathy and misery with those who knew this person, not to everybody else. A person cares what you feel, people don't.

Re: Deceased Friends and Family
when I was in the ninth grade, a seventh grade girl was killed when her mother (a security guard to the school we went to) wrecked her car.
She had our yearbook dedicated to her memory. and she was only 13 |

Re: Deceased Friends and Family
I remember in 5th grade they announce a kid over the intercom named Christopher had died in a car crash. Somehow the name seem familiar and then on the news the next morning the showed a picture of him and I realized that he was my best friend in 3rd grade who had moved to another track so I hadn't seen him since. (My school had 5 different tracks... it's confusing, I don't care to explain. Lets just say you kinda stay in your own track and never see anyone from other tracks.)
It was the first time anyone that close to me had died. I mean, I hadn't seen him practically since 3rd grade but it was still very sad. I think, since then, only my grandfather and my great uncle has died. My great uncle was very close to me and I was named after him so it was very sad when he died.
