What exactly is freedom of speach? At school their telling us to tuck our shirts in and anything with cursing or drugs or sex on it we have to turn insideout. If you can still see it you get sent home.
Freedom of speech (which is the first amendment) grants the rights to say and do what you want, given that it does not encroach upon the rights of others.
So basically, you can say what you want, as long as you dont offend others, hurt their own rights (i.e. Johnny's dad can't get a job because you published a news story about him being a thief who beats on others) or intentionally hurt their reputations (which goes into slander/libel issues).
Plus, if your school has rules against those things there isn't anything you can do about it, since you signed their forms about the rules anyway. o:
Besides, I wouldnt really want a classmate walking around in a shirt that says "***** you and your family. Burn in hell, I'll be smoking my joint and laughing."
