Chain Letters

Well first of all let me point out what a chain letter is. A chain letter is a piece of mail that is sent from person to person telling U to send it to someone you know or else somethin bad might happin to you, like bad luck etc.

Well anyhoo, my brother got one the other (he is 23) and being as superstitious (sp) as he is he actually sent it out to his good friend Brian (he is 24) hehehehehe they are really annoying and so.

And the point im getting to is...have u ever gotten a chain letter and did u or did u not send it out to anyone?

have blah

Re: Chain Letters

I've gotten a mess of chain letters, and a few times letters that actually mocked them (always love those XD).

I'm not one you'd call superstitious, so I never forward those messages, always delete, delete, delete.

I do the same thing as Tenkawa. No forwarding. Just delete after reading what it says. :p

Re: Chain Letters

On AIM there seems to be a version of a chain letter. Apparently, everyday is National Kiss Day.

Re: Chain Letters

And what about those of sick people. The mail says that if you send the same mail to other people, hotmail, microsoft or other, will give money to somebody who is sick. So if you are a good person you would forward tha mail expecting to contribuite for someone in need. I hate this kind of stuff.

Re: Chain Letters

Off topic: Aww, Zeus got Nayru. Oh, well, it was expected. I was actually originally put into Nayru, but I wanted Din enough for Remus to change it for me. ^^ I was Din's 6th member.

Whatev.

On topic: ^^ Chain letters. I usually send back the 25 copies to the person who sent one to me, laughing my ass off as I do.

Re: Chain Letters

Heh, I get some chain letters, mostly from people in my class that thinks it is fun to send them. Sometimes I read the whole letter, sometimes I just see what the letter is about.. It depends.. But I am very annoyed by them, so it gets lesser reading and more deleting..

Re: Chain Letters

Depends on the letter, like if it was like really sweet and not one of those gay ones, I might just feel like sending it too a few people, but I mostly just look at the subject and then delete it just like most people do. I find them VERY annoying and tell the people to stop sending them, but they don't listen to me!

>.> yeah, I've recieved chain letters many times. I always delete.
Some years ago my friends used to send them through regular mail....I burned the letters.

PS: To those that for some strange reason believed the first part of my post, all I can say is; I pity you.

LOL@ Lioness.

I should be dead by now or be an orphan, etc.

Would you call chain letters a part of SPAM?

Re: Chain Letters

I sometimes send chainletters one for purely entertainment purposes, because its fun to have your friends ask you about them...

If I wanted my computer to blow up, or to die, or to never have love again or anything like that, I could accomplish it myself without the help of an email. Espically the last. I already have that. :p

Re: Chain Letters

lmao chain letters suck.

There is some ok ones but on the whole they are all spam to me. Some of the quiz ones are alright and some of the funny picture ones but I hate those "Save me Bill Gates!" ones for all of the etheopians.
One of the funniest ones that I've ever gotten was one that only said "keep this going it has been going since 1872!!11111!11!!!1!"

The saddest thing is that everyone still sends it
