Peter Brock is Dead!
Breaking news Peter Brock the Australian Racing Icon has Just Died in a car crash in Western Australia.

It's an extreme shame to see one of the greatest V8 racing Divers go. EDIT: Could a Mod please change the thread name to Peter Brock is Dead!

First Steve Irwin, now this? It's such terrible news. Well, they both made something great out of their lives, which is good.

Two Aussie legends in the one week. The King of the Mountain is gone. And he died in a rally car crash, so I guess he went doing what he loved. I'd assume that this year's Bathurst 1000 is going to be something special then, he won that thing nine or ten times. He kept retiring but kept coming back it seemed.

Since Steve is dead, they can't really concentrate on what's going on around them. So... it shall be some hard time to get through.

Never heard of that cat (Maybe cause I'm an American and I'm no fan of racing). But I said it so many times, September is turning into the saddest month.

The death of another Aussie legend, what a month its turning out to be. I pretty much had a hunch that anyone here that doesn't live in Australia wouldn't understand really; which is cool, Brock was never a big name overseas like Steve Irwin was. Brock won 9 times at the Bathurst 1000, his career spanned for something like 30 years, he kept on retiring but his worst fear was age...that is why he kept on having his little comebacks. Aftre a while he sort of disappeared from the mainstream media, he might have a mention now and then but the media has been silent about Brock until now. I will pray for Peter's family.

Well, sorry for the loss
but frankly, the only Aussie's any Americans know of are Steve Irwin and Crocodile Dundee But i did know who Peter Brock was, at least
