Spring/Summer vs. Fall/Winter

We in the BA had a bit of a discussion. Which do you like most, the first half of the year or the second. I said and I quote:

Later for Fall/winter

In Spring/Summer its...
Warm outside
No school
The days are long
The women are in swim suits
March 21: First day of Spring and muh B-Day

Like I said in the OoC thread, Winter for the win! I hate Spring/Summer. >>

I <3 cold, snow a lot of things associated with that. : ) Even though I hate heat and summer in general, swimming is awesome. It's probably the only thing that keeps me from choking someone over summer. :]

Fall is awesome too. Despite being born in Spring, I don't care about Spring at all. I find it very boring.

Last half. Coolness is pwnsome. (What do you expect? I live in Texas! Do you know how damn hot it gets in Texas during the summer?! DO YOU?!!!)

The clove between Autumn and Winter si my favorite. O.o I just ahd a discussion about this in my Eng. PAP class. TALK ABOUT DEJA VU!

Spring/Summer

Pros: Warm, bearable weather. Summer vacation. Late nights, late mornings. Lots of fun. The world seems more alive.

Cons: None, really

Fall/Winter

Pros: Nintendo actually releases good games, even though it's usually every other year. You're more productive and there's of course Christmas to look forward to I guess.

Cons: School, early nights, homework, work, everything seems dead outdoors.

For the southern hemishpere, I would say the first half because we have two months of summer and then a gradual cooling down that still has those days you can go down to the beach and swim and surf. It is also when we get all the games (In australia anyway) that where didn't have a world wide release before christmas. For example Metriod Prime was one of these games.

I can't stand the heat and humnidity during summer in Georgia. I like the winter best. Everything is nice and cold, don't have to worry bout the muggy weather. Also don't have to worry bout the nasty storms we get here along with the constant rain which just make it worse the next day.

Well, I like Winter with the snow, but we don't get snow here :|

So I would have to say Summer and Spring. I love taking photos and I like seeing the flowers blossom!

Mostly* QFT since arizona summers are much the same. When the Monsoon kicks in, it is NOT a dry heat. I hate the heat, hate the humidity; love the cold, windy dark days of winter.

*I say mostly because I effing love storms and rain. Those are the days that leave me invigorated, not the bright, sunny ones. Perhaps I'm just weird, but a perfect day is cold, windy, dark and rainy. Everyone else is all glum and lazy, and I'm happy and perky. :P

Winter and autumn. The colder and rainier, the better.

Fall and Winter!

The scenery in fall would be beautiful, bonfires, piles of orange leaves.
Winter; snowball fights, cozy blankets with a warm cup of chocolate, listening to music.

Too bad I've never seen snow, I live in the Caribbean, I hate the heat.

Come to maryland, we get plenty of snow

but I like the winter and fall best. I can't stand being in hot weather most time. The snow that we get can be amazing some years though. Two years ago we got 3 feet of snow and got out of school for a week. Fall has it's own awesomeness as well, except for when my mum shoves me out the door with the rake and says that I can't come in and eat untill the leaves are all off of our lawn.

Then I could live without leaves...

I like Spring, Summer, and Winter. I don't like Fall, though. Because it has Halloween. I hate Halloween! Too scary walking around a neighborhood past all the scary decorations collecting candy while wearing a costume and seeing everyone else's scary costumes at night! >.<

Spring because it has my birthday, flowers, Easter, and it's nice and cool. Summer because no school and the nice warm weather. Winter because of Christmas, snow, and best of all...Christmas Songs!

Actually.......my favorite seasons are Spring and Autumn.

Spring I like, becasue of the gentle warmth, and to see flowers grow, and the earth renewing itself after the winter. And I love the bluebell carpets you see in woods.

Autumn I love too, because of the beautiful colours the leaves turn, the fiery shades of red and orange and rust, and there are so many good things to eat.

Summer is nice too, I like the holidays and the fruit best.

Winter I hate. It never snows, and is just cold, wet and drizzly.

I hate winter so much that I wish it never arrived or existed in the first place. It's dark, cold, damp... taking a bus at 6am in the morning and getting home around 9pm, winter is a killer. I left house in the dark, I got home in the dark. The hell? Not to mention all the nasty wet smell in the bus when it was cold and raining. Fog accumulated on the bus windows, you couldn't see **** outside.

Life sucks in winter.

I like spring/summer.
