The Best Condiment

I want to know what you think is the best condiment. Tell what it is, why you like it, and what you use it on.

In my opinion... The best condiment... Is ranch dressing. It is good. It is good on virtually everything. Alright, not everything, but it is good on a ton of things. Examples of stuff I use ranch on (When ranch is available- Most of the time it isn't. But, well, I use it when I have the chance)-

Pizza
Fries
Onion Rings (Although I prefer this spicy sauce usually served with 'Blooming Onions', if you know what those are.)
Burgers (Rarely, but it isn't bad.)
Chicken (Prepared in the right way, of course.)
Vegetables (Tons of vegetables are good with this stuff.)
Fish (Battered, fried fish.)
Steak (Although I prefer Steak Sauce more.)

Man, I make myself hungry thinking about it. Alright, let's see what your favorite condiment is.

Ketchup, or Catsup, or Tomato condiment, whatever you call it. But would Tomato sauce, sugar, and vinegar by any other name taste less good? I don't think so.

Barbecue sauce.

I eat it with Chicken Fried steak, Frankfurters, Hamburgers, Mashed Potatoes.
You know, pretty much all Southern American food.

This has to be one of the weirdest threads I've ever seen, but whatever. For me, it's A1 Steak Sauce. I'll eat that stuff with nothing but bread! good to the last drop!

Ketchup is better, but not by much.

I can't choose. I'll just list the top three in no particular order and what I usually have with them:

BBQ sauce - Chicken and hamburgers
Ketchup - Hot dogs and hamburgers
Ranch dressing - Vegetables and steak (I absolutely love how much of a difference ranch makes with otherwise bland steak)

I don't know about ranch on pizza, though. Never tried it. BBQ pizza is the best...if you live near a Mellow Mushroom restaurant, go get one of their BBQ pizzas. I had it on my vacation and it was incredible.

I would have to say ketchup and mustard. Yup.

I really hate ketchup, brown sauce and mustard.....it just grosses me out. Plus, whenever my sister has it on her food, and I wash it up, there are these icky little blobs all over it.

Hmmmmm......do these count as condiments?

Sweet Chili Sauce
OmG, Yum! I love sprinking this on my food. Usually, it's on noodles, rice, or spring rolls. It's great on things like that.

Hoisin Suace/Plum Sauce
These are lovely to dip things in, like tofu or dumplings, or just spread on noodles/rice. I also love using these in cooking.

I pretty much love honey mustard. Especially on any kind of chicken. Holy crap is that good.

I don't really like ketchup or mustard much. Spicy/deli/brown mustard or whatever you want to call it is awesome on sammiches.

Mayonaise! It goes on EVERYTHING.

i have to say, habanero sauce and green habanero sauce. yay!!!, nothing can beat habanero sauce, you can put it on soup, meat, chips, noodles, basically anything, and it hads alittle flavor if you haven't tried it, you should, but be careful or you might regret it, also if youre not used to eating sauce or chiles yoyu might want to buy some pepto too (i personally always putalot of it on everything. hmmmmmm...habanero sauce.)

Mustard and Maple syrup(strangly).

I find that anything I eat, ethier one of those makes food taste five times better. Like tonight, I put mustard on my pizza. I know, weird, but it tasted really good!

I love putting Maple Syrup/Golden Syrup on pancakes, or toast, or waffles.

But I also love putting it on meaty things (lol, vegetarian though), such as vegebacon or vege sauseges.

Hah, there's food threads by the pile.

Hot sauce ftw. I live in the southwest so, ya...hot sauce owns my soul.

But what about chocolate syrup? <3

Ketchup. It's an American tradition. It goes with any meat, and even some vegetables!

So true. So very, very true. Ketchup is awesome. =)

A national result said Mustard ranked supreme overall condiments (it was the best).

I like Ketsup.
