lol - the meaning
well i know what it universally means but there are two different ways it can be read, the reason i am posting this is because me and my STEP-nephew (notice i said step in there, he the same as i am, i am not some in-bread) well anyway we were playing MoH:AA and this guy typed in some funny and i type "lol" and my step-nephew (Micheal)
said "why did u type that, ur not laughing out loud (lol)" "well duuh why would i lough out loud" i said "cus u typed 'lol' " micheal said "what 'lol' means 'lots of laughs' " i said "well i say 'laugh out loud' " he said and thats how it all started and well what does it mean to U *points* this thread is pointless, hehehe

It is sorta pointless, but it is mostly used at Laughing out Loud...atleast thats how I use it.
Then theres rofl, rolling on floor laughing(my fav  )And roflmao, which is pretty obvious given the lost on. :rolleyes: |

Kinda pointless, but I think thath it means laughing out loud. That is how I have always used.
