5 months and counting........

Please mods don't just lock this topic te second you see it, because not only will it be about me, but it can also be for other members to post something special in about the certain topic of this thread..........

Well, it's official. 5 months ago today, I was on ZU. I decided to see what these "forums" were, and after reading the rules, I joined the ZU forums. I remember my first post ever was the making of my welcome thread, where I was greeted by numerous ZU members, and made a couple friends, including one of my best here on ZU, PZ123. I had posted a total of 30 posts on that day, and within one week I had a accumlated 100 posts. Luckily now I've kinda died down on mega-posting, now with 1771 posts going at an easy 11.50 or so posts a day.

I remember back when I was new, my first avy was one you could just pic from the site, a face shot of SSBM Link. THen my first siggy, made by Irish Samurai, the Little Link: Second Generation Warrior one. Now look at what I've got, I'm makin' my own. My current avy: a modified one of Sesshomaru to make him look like my battle character and one of my new favorite charcters in my Zelda fic; Vaarshola. And my current siggy: John Cena, one of my favorite wreestlers with the great saying "Word Life!"

5 months, geez, doesn't seem that long. My older bro and cuz still find it amazing at my high post count for only five months, but forget them I don't care, for here its pretty normal. One though still sticks in my head though from my brother "Eventually you're gonna get bored of that place...." Heh, yeah right. I will never believe that, because even while ZU is in a decline and tensions are high around a bunch of members, I love it here. In fact, I think I like it now more than I ever have. I love this place; the Farore forum where I'm the prince and as always having a blast, the Battle Arena where I've fought numerous fights and now are duking it out continuously with Vaarshola, who soon I migt consider "The Next Big Thing" as a quote from Paul Heyman about Brock Lesner of the WWE. Also, another thing about ZU is that I have a bunch of people reading and commenting on my Zeldafics, which I love more than anything. Heck, I even dedicated my newest Zelda fic to all of you guys, because you're the best in my mind.

You guys have seen a lot of different personalites in me, at first I always joked around with being hyper and enraged, now I'm the cutsey/pootsey, beast child that acts like he's the toughest thing alive, roars, and threatens to beat up Merc and Kishin. And right now, slowly I'm possibly becoming a rapper-type person like John Cena. Maybe so, maybe not. You'll all see.....

I swear to God I love all of you *except the stinky noob rule-breakers*. If I eve have a problem, somehow you guys ease my pain on AIM or right here. I talk to many of you on AIM and in AIM chatrooms daily, and I can never get enough of it. You guys are the best, and I'm serious, a lot of you are true friends to me. Wait no, I'm wrong. You're not like friends; you're all like family to me. All of you, my really good buds from here, the ones I talk to once in a while, and those I rarely ever talk to. I'm telling ya, if I had one wish, it'd be to have one gigantic week-long brouhaha with all of you on some awesome hotel resort, you guys are truely the best in my mind, even if I don't know you personally.

I'm almost done, but right now I really wanna thank all of you for my great times and memories here on ZU: Nova Dragon, Ansem, Kokiri Kid, Princess Zelda123, Mame88, Ascius, Mercutio, Kishin, PrinceJake, Merchant, andi, Nenue, Lady Zansatsu, Windwaker, Jango, azwethinkweiz, Bahamut, Malony, Ganon's Daughter, sadida, my adopted older bro Irish Samurai and ever single other God-danged member on ZU. You guys are the greatest!!!

Yeah though, they might not like it, but this was also meant to be for others who wanted to do anniversary posts or something....meh....

Hehe, I don't know if I exactly remember when you registered... I remember you freaking out on me in the old CT though, I forgot what reason it was, though.

I'm sorry that I have not been as much of a "big bro" to your generation (the ones that joined this summer) as I have been to all the others. I really have felt (very much so) that the summer members don't know me and who I really am...and that makes me sad.

But, as time goes on, I am unable to invest as much effort into my posts. It used to be that I would always be the one providing the definitive answer to issues. When I said something, I cleared everything up. Now, though, I rarely get deep into things. I suppose that is because--with so little time--I feel that I will not be able to really follow up on what I say and that it is better not to comment at all (then to start something and not be able to finish it).

I'm sorry to everyone for not really being there. I'm just a survivor, not a thriver, it seems. Well, may things change for the better :0)

I registered in May. And it will be a long time until my anniversary at ZU! Its a shame....well i suppose really myne passed or is passing soon. Mirren your a good poster who never spams. For some reason i've never thought myself a big part of Zu for i am not that popular. But what the hell. Happy Anniversary Mirren.

Congrats on five month here, Mirren. Personally, I'd always thought that you'd been here a lot longer. But, then again, I never look at the little joined date under everyone's profile, so how would I know.

Uh, either way, congradulations. You are, in my opinion, one of the most famous members here at ZU. I hope that you stay with us for a long time. Well, I'd love to continue, but right now I have to go kill my brother in Jedi Knight II. Happy Aniversary!

The reason things like this are against the rules is to keep people form making small, short, worthless posts about their 6 month anniversary, or something. Heh.

However, this has substance to it, you put work into it... I would personally be a bit angry with any mod that locked/merged it

Myself, I've been here for a little less then 10 months.

EDIT: Hmmm... I only have 13.31 poss per day There was a period of about 1 month and a half where I was posting at least 50 times each day, heh.

I joined back in April(I think), 2 days after Mercutio(Useless info stored in a shelf in my brain.)

I didn't post much at first, but then after a few days I got addicted to this place and I started posting something like 20 posts per day. Now I don't post that much anymore, maybe 10 posts per day at the highest. I'm sorry it's like that. I guess I haven't really got that much to say anymore. I think I'm getting near 1800 posts, if I'm not already there. I hope you guys think that what I write is worth reading

I've just realized that I've been a member of these forums fo about five months. I didn't realize that we joined at the same time Mirren. I also have an anniversery, though i don't find it to be a big deal in my opinion, but congradulations Mirren. I think you've made even more friens than I did at these forums. I remember my first avy, it was a picture of Agahnim's face from the LttP comic at the main site. My first sig was a small Say No To Spam sig. The second sig I had was a cheesy one involving Lttp sprites. Now I'm a member of the Farore Clan, Battle Arena, and Zelda RPG. I'm planning to join the Quest for Terra Firma RPG as soon as it starts.

My first five months were a complete chaos. I mean I never been on a forum until I joined Z.U. This was my first time on any forum on the net. Back then,I lack the concept of what a forum was. I kept running into mods (Drewball, merchant, Anakin) one of them actually threaten to ban me. But as time went along I grow more mature, built up some friends and a lot of enemies. In conclusion Z.U forums and help me to understand this concept of discussion.

I do believe you joined 2 days or so after me... and I kept my post count HIGHER! HAHA...um... yeah... That didn't last....Summer camp, boarding school, etc...

I agree whole heartedly that this forum is a great place. To me, it is a place to interact with people unlike those around me in every day life. And of course, when I have enough time, a place to do some rpg battle in the BA....I need more time... ZU is also a great place to discuss things in more thought out manners than a normal conversation or debate.

And of course, there's the ZU chat...gotta love that place...
