A change in hair

My First hair cut....

Oh yeah.... Up to 3rd grade my friends and teachers would call me Repunzel. Well My Mom said I was shedding my hair ( which was about past my butt ) and I needed to get it cut... It took me a while for a choice, and I said yes. She braided it and started snipping. I cried.

I looked back and Oh My Gosh. There was my hair, In a braid off my shoulders. I saw me, and my hair was cut crooked! I hated my choice, but My hair grows fast so I Didn't cut it ever again.

Don't ask how it got so long. It takes lots of baths, and good Genes.

This is discusting But, My mom kept my hair in the garage... And my OLDER Brother is afraid of it. Hah.

Now It's Long again, and it grew back more fast! So Me happy again,

I've always done drastic changes to my hair. For a while, it was blonde and long, then I dyed it dark brown, then from there, dyed black and orange. After that, it was red and black, then I cut it into a mohawk. Now I have short hair. I'm thinking about growing it out kinda long and then dyeing straight down the middle, half white and half black. And then spike it up all over my head yet. But I don't know, I kinda want to get dread locks, but I'd have to wait for my hair to get really long.

My hair is long. Always has been, always will be. Although sadly it's all dead hair from my shoulders down. Rrrrrr. But! But, every so often I'm going to trim about an inch then let it grow back, and trim it again. So I don't have to have my hair so short nor does it have to be all dead.

I think the biggest change for me though was when it was down to my hips, I cut it just below my chest and did my bangs sideways covering one of my eyes. It looked nice at first and then so stupid. So I parted it down the middle and straighten it all the time. It's about half way as near to my hips from last year, August

I used to have long hair, past my waist. I'm kinda a tomboy and it was a pain so I got it cut short, just below my ears when I was 8. It was great and so easy except some old guy thought I was a boy. I let it get long again but really didn't like taking care of it, so now it's short again.
It always feels weird when I first get it cut short, like when i brush or comb it, suddenly I run out of hair. And I fiddle with my hair when it's long, kinda hard to do when it's short. So I don't know what I'll do next.

My hair was longer than below my butt... And my mom cut it to a couple inches above my shoulders. T_____T That was like MONTHS ago, but the difference was obvious. Actually, I realized my hair was REALY heavy! When I stood up, I was comepletely off balance. I nearly tripped. XD

I hated that feeling. The last time I actually got a real cut was when I was in the seventh grade (5 years ago). It was all the way down to the bottom of my back, and then I got it cut up to my ears. I was so upset, and I didn't like how it looked. So I've been growing my hair out ever since. I just got it trimmed, but it's down to the bottom of my back again, so I'm happy.

I had long hair a couple weeks ago, but then my mom made me go and get it cut really short. For some reason the barbers have to listen to the parents instead of me. I hate having short hair, I just don't look like myself. I have worn a hat ever since, even when I sleep. I am wearing at hat as I type this. It's growing back, and I hope it grows back to normal by school starts in mid-August.

I've had long hair since I was 3. The shortest I've ever gone was shoulder length when I was ten. I even thought it was too short then.

My hair is way past my shoulders right now, and I intend to keep it like that. I don't think I'd have the guts to cut it all off. Call me a weirdo, but my hair's like a security blanket or something. I love it long and it always will be so.

Right now, I'm thinking of growing it out even more, and dying it dark brown. I have naturally wavy hair, so I think it'd look nice, long and dark ^^

As a little boy, I sported a mop top. From the beginning of grade school until, I've always opted for a clean cut look. Buzz cuts exclusively. Then, for whatever reason, I started not liking the way it looked, so I've been growing it out a bit and trying to style it. I've been told it makes me look older. I'm still keeping it relatively short, though. By "growing it out" all I really mean is that it isn't a buzz cut. I'll never, ever let my hair touch my shoulder, for example. I think longer hair in men can send the subtle impression that you're lazy or some sort of rebel, whether that be the case or not. That, along with ease of maintenance, is why I keep my hair short.

I used to keep my hair short and relatively normal when I was younger. Then in 6th-9th grade had my hair bleached blonde, it was a disaster. Now I am going for a longer shaggier black hair(my natural color).

I used to have short hair. I hated it, now i have about bottom of my ear length and whenever i get it cut, i miss moving my head to the side and my hair going "whoosh" past my eyes. It be fun. :/

Well, i can't say from my own personal experience, but my best friend had hers loped off about a year ago, the hair stylus didn't know what the crap she was doing and she hated it, i was mad to, she looked so pretty with long brunette har, then poof, it was gone. It took her forever to get used to it, and for all her friends to as well.

You'll spend an fortune on hair products and makeup. But if you can pull it off, then that'll be awesome. My hair could never handle punishment like that.

I'm a pretty boy, as been quoted by a number of my friends. I've always spent cash on my appearance.
But I don't put gel or crap in my hair thats just mean.

Anyway I currently have Mod hair, I love the 1960/70's fashion. Plus Mod is coming back so...cool.

I usually have very short hair but his summer I am gonna have it long like those emo boys i have never had this long ever. Always short.

I've had the exact experience. A couple years ago I had really, really long hair. While I was at an anime convention I woke up in my hotel one morning and went strait to chopping my hair off. I had no real reason to; it just seemed like a good idea. It took me a few days to get used to short hair.

Well...how I define long is different to you guys...To me, long hair is like 1cm away from my eyebrows. I like to keep my hair halfway down my forehead and pretty thick. I don't like short because it really brings out my ears and my girlfriend makes me blush alot..which will show alot in short hair..

My hair can range anywhere from medium legth to slightly out of control. I would love to grow my hair out (in fact, I may do so in college), but as of right now, my parents have a strict rule on my hair length. Arguing with them is pointless since it just ends me up grounded, so I don't bother.

Up until 8th grade I always had my hair really short, like, buzz-cut length. Then I grew it out and I've tried to keep it long ever since. When I get it cut, it's still usually halway down my ears, but since my hair grows really fast, it'll only take a couple weeks to look normal again. At first my parents hated it, but now they've grown used to it, and I like it a heck of a lot more than short hair, it made me look too young. If anyone ever complains about it being too long, I tell them that I'm trying to look like Jesus. They don't always buy it, though...

I've had shortish hair since up until the beginning of my senior year of high school... three years now. Now my hair is shoulder length (or there about) when dry, a little longer and straighter when wet.

As of now, I don't want to cut it. I like my long hair, I think that having short hiar made my head look big. Which, now that I think about it, doesn't make sense... It bothered me with short hair because the hair was away, yet it doesn't bother me when my hair is tied back and "away" And I've been told I look good with my long hair.

And I'm secretly Jesus anyway... He wouldn't cut his hair.
