Z.U banned!

Very time I try to access Z.U from city college (that’s not university for you Americans) I find a message that says, “Access denied, this page has been logged” I know what it means. You seen my college has taken strict action against people access computer game web sites. They say it a less productive way of using computer time. I can only access Z.U from my home now.

Does anyone have the same problem as me?

I don't know if that's a very big problem. Shouldn't you be doing work at the college rather than going on ZU?

Anyways, nope, I don't have that problem at my school. I usually go on during Career Studies, which is amazingly boring, and whenever the teacher asks me what I'm doing, I'll say I'm done. Usually I am done the work by then, so...

I like to do my assignments at the last moment.It really get my blood going.

As far as I know, no sites are blockjed in my school, which is good. A strange thing is that they won't let us play games online(saying something on bandwidth) but they let us watch movies (if we have the time) or something like that with no restrictions on size or whatever.

that's weird, you can't play game but you can watch movies. as far as i know movies use more bandwith then games

At sachool we have this thing called St. Bernard Protect...at first it let us go onto ZU...but now it blocks it...

My school has denied the access to "lunarstorm" a huge Swedish community. They thoguht that studens use that too much during lessons in any of the many compueter roosm, so teh blocked it..

One very annoying thing with out school filter system is that it blocked out 2 of the largest web-page hosts on the net, Angelfire and Tripod. So I can't view anything from there

Weird, my friend could access a couple of DoA hentai doujinshi via the school system...sneaky bugger.

My school's system has something called X-Stop that blocks games, movies, pornography, "inappropriate" content, chat, forums..

I dont know what our school computer blocking system thing is called, but i can go to ZU, i can watch movies, play games...im not sure about chat though. Obviously pornography is not allowed Our system thing aint that bad o_O

I'm not sure what my school has. I'm not on computers much. But I think forums are allowed. I was on a different forum at my school but not ZU.

My school doesn't let us check our email, go into chats, go on forums, look at stuff that is violent, look at pornography, and a whole bunch of other stuff. The bottom line is that anyhting that isn't educatioal we can't go on. Me and my friend found the password so that we can though. XP I can pretty much go any site I want to because of that. *huggles password*

School doesnt let us check emails. Chat rooms. Porn. Games sites. We can look up anything else thats disturbing though. Somone put a porn picutre on our site and made the head teacher have sex with these two lesbians....um and our headteahcer is a woman..well spose it was funny..we have passwords and we can get ourselves banned for the whole year..Homeschool feels like a good idea...

does it not let you access things on wars like the world wars because they are violent? if so, how do you do projects and stuff at school for history?

Also my school does not let us have MSN or any other chat programs.

We have MSN on most of our computers...O_o
