Do your parents know?

I was just wondering...if you still live with your parents...do thy know you belong to ZU? Mine don't...they are askng questions like why there is something called a siggy and what's a DoD? If you don't live with your parents...do any of your siblings know?

My sister goes to several forums, she knows exactly what it all means. The rest of my family is aware that I go to forums, but none of them specifically.

Yes, my mom know, but she don't know what they are, there for she think I'm nuts :rolleyes: for some odd strange reason. The rest of my family is the same way, they're hopeless

My parents are vaguely aware of it, without really understanding what a forum is, or knowing exactly what I do here.

I don't live with my parents nor any of my siblings... *sob!* so, that means that nobody knows I come here...

As far as I know, none of my parents dont know which ones I go to.

yeah, they definately know that i spend way too much time on the computer talking to random people and going to "crappy zelda forums"...

of course, the last part is in the words of the same sister who calls anime "cartoon pr0n"

My parents have no clue and as far as I'm concered...I want to keep it that way...they think it s bad to belong to a forum where evryone can see you rE-mail and stuff....meh...they're weird...<.<...>.>

My mom had made it her obsession to prod and poke at every aspect of my online life. When I leave the dinner table or whatever to go to my room, she will ask, "Oh. You don't want to spend time with me, just your online frinends?" Make me all guilty, then the next morning ask me, "What new threads are there?" -____-

my mom kinda knows i told her once upon a time, but she doesn't even know how to use the computer so she doesn't have the slightest idea what forums are, blah it's ok she doesn't need to know

My parents know...everything... even my password. It is one of the conditions of being allowed on the Internet. I'll deal with it because I love the forums. And it is also part of the reason why they chose the Internet to ground me off of... to try to break my "horrible addiction". Oh well.

Neither of my parents know that I belong to ZU. I don't really see it as big a deal as that. I never really thought of belonging to a forum as being the same as belong to a gang or something. As for siblings, my brother knows that I'm at ZU because he goes here too. My sisters know that I am part of a forum. Luckily, they don't know which one.

My parents kind of know. They know it's some zelda thing but not what it is. My parents can barly figure out the internet.

My parents know. They don't really care...as long as when I get off when they need to get on.

My dad simply thinks that I am a Japanese, Zelda, and Internet obsessed kid but he really couldn't care less.

Yes, my parentes know. At first I felt kinda shy to the fact of my parents knowing it sit here and waste time talking to people I dont even know. After awhile I stopped minimizing ths screen when my dad walked by. I realized its not somthing to be "shy" about. Its just chatting and dicsussing things with people, known or not. Sure somtimes I feel stupid talking about "A kid on ZU" but meh, so what. Kinda weird why I thought that..........

My parents kind of know, but not any specifics... like, sometimes at night my dad comes around and says "WHat are you doing?", and I go "Just posting in some forums"... then he walks away. My parents don't really mind anything I do online, as I am 18.

I always thought you were more like 16, OldBeane.... not to insult you maturity level or anything
