Dragons

If anyone likes dragons, you can come here to discuss them, and post pictures of them. If anyone wants to just look at some dragon pictures, go to Saberfire, click "dragon archives", then select High Res.. There's so many cool pictures of dragons on there, you could look for hours. Well, maybe not that long.
Anyways, enjoy, and I hope to find many people who like dragons and perhaps believe in them. Please post many pictures and have fun. ^^

Re: Dragons

I'd like to believe in dragons. I find them not only fascinating, but also stunning by their physical appearances and features. Unfortunately, they are only part of the myths created by the imaginations of human beings. Then again, it never hurts to imagine that they exist or once existed.

Re: Dragons

I saw a documentary on Animal Planet. They say they found dragon bones. They really breathed fire and they could fly, but I don't know If we should believe that.

Re: Dragons

I believe in dragons, but that's just me. There's many places humans can't venture to because we're not able, so who knows what could be lurking there? What about the bottom of the sea? They could lay dormant down there, or something. You never really know.
I saw that Animal Planet documentary. The ending was incredibly sad, however.

Re: Dragons

Dragons are SO cool! My brother likes to draw them (he's too amazing). It's true that we don't know if they exist and if so we can't find them, and such as we don't know what's in Area 51.

Re: Dragons

Anyone ever read the Dragonology books? They are pretty much the coolest dragon books out there. I have all three out now (Dragonology, The Dragonology Handbook, Tracking and Taming Wild Dragons), and have read all of them. I saw that special on Animal Planet, and then later bought the book about it. Dragons are really cool, and I believe that they could have once existed, but don't anymore. I really wish I could draw them better, though...

Anyway, here's the Dragonology website.

Re: Dragons

My friend let me read her dragonology handbook and I've skimmed through her dragonology book. Pictures of dragons? Why I have a bunch! I'm not like obsessed with dragons, but I think they are beautiful. Anyway, pic time!

Eh.... I have more, but I don't want to put too many..... ^.^;;

Re: Dragons

I like almost all of them. Those are great pictures, Riku, keep 'em coming!
I also have the Dragonology book. I've read it completely through at least 10 times now.
How's this pic?

Re: Dragons

I love dragons. Sheer power and brutality. They have to be the best mythical creature ever made. So many are said to have fallen to them and theres many legends of them. I think they once existed because they seem like a good guardian etc.

Re: Dragons

If I had to pick a favourite type, I'd choose ice dragons.

I drew a fire dragon once from memory with my right hand. I'm left handed. I did the rest in Photoshop from memory.

This is how it turned out:

http://www.deviantart.com/view/25543308/

It kind of looks more like a giant lizard though.

I might draw an ice dragon some time.

Re: Dragons

You're good. I can't imagine how good you might've done with your right hand. You have a talent, sir.
That red dragon I posted was one of my favorites. I have another dragon favorite. Here it is:

Re: Dragons

I think dragons are cool. Too bad they don't exist...*sigh*... it's like Nessie, you want it to exist but it just can't....

My favorite type would be either European or Japanese, European for just the pure awesomeness of how they look and breathe fire, and Japanese for their smarts. I have a thing for reptiles.

I have two dragon figurines in my room; I want to get more, and five dragon posters.

Re: Dragons

I have about 10 figurines. 2 are big ones, while the other ones are small, 6" tall or something. Well, anyways, I'm glad to see there's lots of dragon-likers out there.
