Mutants

Well I was wondering if I was a mutant what would my power be and/or would you take place as in a different body (nightcrawler).
Well anyways I know what I would be:

I would want to be a bit like a Zora but look like myself, so I could breath under water and see under water.

So I would choose to be...Human Fish!

Yeah, that's right, a human fish!

Sorry man, I don't think the mods alows those kind of threads, BUT !! I maybe wrong. Well why I'm at it, I should think of something... I'd like to have wings, so I guess I'd be like an but I don't know how to call my type of mutant.

I would love to have the power of Telekenisis, that'd be cool.
I wouldn't have Telepathy - I mean, all thouse thoughts in your head - it'd be a great, bloody headache!

I'd love to have the Phoenix-effect too when I use my power, the Phoenix effect being orange-gold flames eminating from Jean's body in X2.

I would want the power to... Well, how do I explain it? Ah, let's see... I want the power to imediately disappear and reappear in a different location of the vicinity... Yah!

If not that then, the power to fly... Without wings even, just flying! As fast or as slow as I want to.

I'm the type that, if I had power, I wouldnt use it unless it were just for something funny. I'd be like Loci... I'd love to be able to manipulate matter itself. That means, basically, I could change reality as I saw fit. See, in most hands, that would seem selfish "I want to be God" but no no no, that's not where I'm going. I'd love to be able to change the Physical. I dont want to be Telepathic, becuase honestly, knowing what people are going to say before they say it would be pretty boring. I wouldnt be able to look forward or back in time, and I wouldnt be all knowing, or Omnipresent, or all powerful for that matter. I'd just have the ability to change one type of matter into another. This would give me strange abilities however.

I'd be able to fly, breathe under water, and even stand in lava, because all matter to me, is nothing. Change rock into diamond, change water into sand, change grass into food...... things like that.

This, however, wouldnt be my prime goal for even having this power. If I had this ability, knowing how I act, I'd simply be a prankster (bring back Loci). Maybe one day, you all wake up and...... WTF? that sky is bright pink? mass confusion and no explination, then the next day, everything is normal again, and nothing really happened... but just watch the after effects of it... watch scientists for months try to explain it as a "once every 100 million years" thing, like they really know what's going on...

maybe, turn the ground you're walking on into a 4 foot puddle of water XD. Heh, PRETEND to be all powerful, and just really scare the hell out of you... Immitate SuperDecimal lol... Change appearance, age myself, or UN-age myself and possibly others. Make your Dog blue ... I'd be suck an @$$ hole but it's be so much fun :-p not to mention i'm already a magician, imagine adding that to a magic act lol.

Mutant thread? Awesome, this is right up my ally. Well there (sorta) already is an X-men that has the mutant power that I want. I want to have complete control over all forms of water. Iceman can turn his body into snow and ice, but I'd like to turn into, and control all forms: Mist/Steam/Fog, water, snow, and ice. Hmmm now what would my mutant name be? Neptune, Poseidon, Aquaman, Hydroman, and Iceman have already been taken in comics (so there goes all the good names...). I'd hate to be called "Water-man" or I'd get confused with the Polar Springs delivery people. *Sigh* The only name that I can think of is "Azul"...which simply means "Blue" in Spanish.

if i could have any power it would be the power to instantly heal and to do anything i want (as posted by TELB) and the power to fly and turn invisible. and maybe skin as hard as steel, super streanght and the power to stop babbling on about powers

Become a wolf ,i guess that would mean i would be Wolfboy and i would have the power to control time so that will make me: The Wolf Time Master Boy or have the the name of Timewolf hehe

I've always wondered that - why the people with Telepathy only hear some thoguhts. I'd kind of like to have Telepathy if I could filter out whose thoughts I'd hear and such. But at the same time, I wouldn't want it. I like living life and seeing the surprises in it, and reading minds would also be invasion of privacy.
A power I'd love to have would be healing. It's respectable, and the people I hang around with would probably need it. Actually, make that healing and calming(Hey-ey! Like the Pendragon Travelers!). If someone is frightened, I'd be able to soothe them. If they're mad or confused to the point of starting to spaz, I would calm that too. And then if they hurt themself, I could just heal it.

Those are mutant-ish enough, right?

Well...since Wolverine IS my favorite X-men..I'd have to say I'd want Wolverine's healing ability PLUS his admantium skeleton and claws. I'd have more fun than you can imagine...

If we're talking about X-Men powers here, one I've always loved is Multiple Man's. He multiplies only when something hits him, or he hits something- any sort of impact results in a duplicate. And each duplicate is a manifesation of an aspect of his personality, and occasionally a very dark side. And when he reabsorbs the dupes, he gains all their memories- he can send a dupe off to learn how to do something, and literally be living twenty lives at once. It's an awesome power to have.

Or I'd choose superspeed. The type that Impulse (DC character) has. Not only does he have the standard ability to move at a rapid pace and phase through solid objects, but he can also read and learn at superspeed and retain all the information. Learning a foreign language in an insant? I'd take that.

I also admire Wolverine's powers. Seems like a pretty good deal. But healing powers seem to be a magnet for pain.

What if I had a mutant power? I'd want to be invisible. It just seems handy. I could spy on people, get through awkward situations and avoid the awkwardness, go to the movies for free, friggen' own at Hide and Seek. It'd be fun.
I can't see the point of having like, laser beams or claw hands in this age, cause there are no super villains, and all those do is destroy stuff.

I'de have telekenisis like the jesus, but really, to have ultimate telekenetic powers, to the point of controlling atoms themselves would be wonderful, I could life myself for flight, explode particles for fireballs and such, I could do everything.

But the most interesting part is, I'm actually a mutant, in Marvel terms, I actually have a tail, and no I'm not refering to the curl of bones in your rear pelvis, I actually have flesh protuding from my backside, like a monkey, I read that 1 in every 15000 births get this "defect" so well.. go me!

Ultimate gravity control. It sounds like a lame power, but seriously you could do quite a lot with a power like that. Create gravity fields around objects to make them 'fall' upwards and control them as you would with telekenisis, create powerful mini black holes to compact large objects in no time flat, you could even create a field around yourself to propel yourself off the ground and into the air to simulate flight.

However I imagine the capacity to accidentally hurt yourself would be quite large.

Girls Locker Rooms here I come! It would be great to be invisible because no-one can see you! You could commit a crime and get away scot free! But sometiimes I'd like to have gravity control too...
