anime cons

Do you guys do anime cons? If you do than cool. This weekend Im going to my first anime con called OMG! con, and I am dressing up a naruto.

If you just happen to be going to this con, than that would be cool.

I don't think they're nerdy at all, as long as the people realize that it's just for fun and that they really aren't that character...Because, some people just can't seem to process that information.

As for me, I've never been to one. But they look fun! It's like Halloween. But anime-style!

I love anime..... I'm no nerd. I'm more of an atheletically challenged person. Still, the only one I'm going to is Comic Con..... The benefits of living in southern California. I'm going with my friend. She's going dressed as Paine and is making me go dressed as Yuna, since I still have my Yuna halloween costume. >.> Meh..... Well, I'm looking forward to it, especially since she looks nothing like Paine and I'd like to see her pull it off.

That's funny. I was out last weekend when I saw a Yuna and a Paine in a mall. I've never been to an anime or video game convention, so seeing people in such costumes was a new experience for me.

Once I get old enough, I'll go to Comic Con as Link from Twilight Princess. You'll probably be able to spot me out. I'll be the one with the well-made costume and the real sword. (That is, if they'll allow me to bring a sword in.)

Meh, I was planning on going to Anime Expo 2005 last year in California, but I ended up not going anyways. I change my plans a lot. I’ll end up going to a convention eventually in these next few years. I haven’t gone yet though. I was thinking about cosplaying either Rinoa or Yuna. Rinoa would be the easiest for me though. I’ll probably decide on more costumes sooner or later.

I've never been to one, but I'd like to go eventually. Money's always an issue, though. Seems like they'd be cool, even though I'm really not too into the anime scene. I'd like to dress up and wander around. Probably as Sonic the Hedgehog... yea.

I think I'd still feel pretty at home around that many nerdy people. Nerds rule. And Riku's Girl, don't try to deny your nerdiness... I mean, apart from having a screen name derived from Final Fantasy, you also have over a thousand posts on a Zelda message board. Nerdy? Of course. But it's so, so awesome.

I would like to go to a convention one day, but I dont think there are any in Australia. I certainly havent heard about any here anyways...I could be wrong. I wouldnt cosplay anyone...I will be myself.

I went to an Otakon in Baltimore with my younger sis. I only like a couple anime's, but she lives and breathes that stuff. It was fun; I got to see Larc-en-ciel play, saw some interesting disucssion panels with artists and stuff, and met some interesting people. On the whole, it was neat.
