So, the secret is out.
I guess now it's my job to give my usual big long summary of the trip now....eh?
Unlike andi's trip, I urge you to read this
entire thing.....
Well, here goes nothing o-o
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyway.......
Thursday, October 16, 2003 (day of departure)
We left for Philadlphia airport around 3 on Thursday......and then we drove there.....did the security/parking/checking/waiting junk that all comes with going on a flight.....
Flew to Boston......had pretzels....
Got to Boston around.....oh...6 something...
We got our rental car, of which you'll see
later.
With the new car we drove to the Doubletree Hotel, whichis designed in Feng Shui.......and other Oriental styled things...including a fish tank in the lobby.............................
So, when we got there we (me, mom, dad) each got a complimentary warm chocolate chip cookie! ^___^
The room was well furnished.....it included some kind of vending machine inside a refrigorator.....which we couldn't figure out how to use, so we didn't get anything from it....oh well

.
After unpacking we ate dinner at the resturant in the hotel, Wisteria, which mainly is Pan-Asian cuisene......
I won't go into detail of the exact foods I had on the trip, but I'll just say, it was good.
So, after dinner we watched the game until after midnight, but I was well asleep before it ended. (personally, I'm not much of a baseball fan....but I watched it anyway
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Friday, October 17, 2003 (day of andi)
Early in the morning we walked around Boston and ate at "Fanagle A Bagel" for breakfast, an intersesting, seemingly "Boston Only" food chain where they send the bagels on a conveyer belt right into a big slicer wheel thing that both slices them and shoots them down very rapidly to the other attendant at the end of the line.
Did I mention that during this entire day I was extremly anxious?
....... During the rest of the morning we walked along the freedom trail.....stopping at the Old South Meeting House, some old graveyard which had the graves of famous American figures......, the house of Paul Revere, and the Old North Church.
On these stops we bought lots of souvoniers (sp?) (Being tourists after all.................at least I was....)
We bought a Bean Pot! Hey look at us southern hicks buyin' is a bean pot! o-o.........<_<.....O_o....>_>;
Um....well.....yes....uhh........ok....
I also bought a pin of Boston.....which the last time I came was very hard to come by, so I must say I am proud of finding it....
(will show later.)
******************Meeting Andi************************
So, after all that touring we decided we need some food.....and it was after 2:00......
We went over to the italian section of the city and I tried to call andi.....but all I heard was indistinct voices....O.o
Though later, I got her message saying she was underground....
After lunch I called her (just like her, I too had to get up my gall.)
So I talked with her......both being kinda nervous....but we decided to meet in front of Fanuial (sp?) Hall at 3:00....
So we very quickly went there.....
As I was posing for pictures in front of Sam.....I was looking at the staircase ahead of me, expecting to see her any minute...
(little did I know she was playing paparazia (sp?) just a short distance away from me....)
So I got down from Sam and was looking around, when this girl takes a picture of me.....I was like "huh"?
So, I looked behind me to see if there was someone indeed standing behind me psoing for that picture.....I did a double-take, and there was andi!
She didn't have any pom-poms that I could see....(but she was hiding them...)
We were both very shy and nervous and contiued to talk nervously all the way through the Hall....
Then there was Ozzy. He was dressed up as a Gargoyle, but I knew it was him because he was trying to take off my head with his claws >=(........andi was.....well.........mute. (she was probably afraid Ozzy would try somethinbg withe the panties again...)
Yes...anyway.....I got a picture with both andi and ozzy!
So after that we went to the Zoinks Toy Store, were we walked around absent-mindedly, looking at toys mostly way to young for us......talking about things.....including the true definition of "huggles" and "squee", which we concluded was very hard to explain....so we just left it at that.....
We played Galaga (classic aracade style) and I beat andi.....I hit 26 on the Challenge Stage and she only hit 22.....
Walked around more.....talked more.......
Once we got outside we talked with my parents about...stuff....until about 5-ish.....when we started to walk back to the T station so andi could leave.
On the way dad decided to pose for another picture of hey-look-something's-on-top-of-my-head.....this time a teapot.
(It was kinda hard to explain to andi that your family's perception of "fun" is to pose in imitate stautes and take pictures with things sprouting atop their head, from the Eiffel Tower to the Washington Monument.....)
We finallly got to the T and we had to say goodbye......

During the whole trip I had been making one of those Friendship Bracelet things for her....so I gave it to her.....she said she'd give me a pom-pom.. but as it turns out she lost them....
We finnaly said goodbye around 5:30.....it was sad.....
**************End Meeting Andi************************
After andi left we walked to the "high steet" of Boston to visit a friend who works there..........
After seeing her we ate dinner at the Cottonwood Bar and Grill.....
After dinner we walked back to the car, packed up, and drove to Ipswitch, MA.......where we stayed to the Town Hill Bed and Breakfast. I didn't like it at all. No TV. No phones. No computers.
Just a dank little room with only a bed, (a slept on some cot thing.) dresser, chair, desk, bathroom, etc.
Spent the night there. In the middle of the night there was a car accident in front of the place. whee. I was asleep for it

Saturday, October 18, 2003
Ah......anyway, breakfast the next day was not up to par. The Golden Arches would have been better, in my opinion.
We walked around Ipswitch for the morning, stopping at "Fun Amoung Us'' (another toy store) as soon as it opened.
Met the other friend after the toy store (the one after andi in Boston. Her name's Heather.)
She took us to her house, which is...um.....well......something teenagers would live in (since she is one, just out of college.)....
I was on here for about 5 minutes, she had a laptop. Talked to BBD a little.....(Me, andi, Lozzie, and him were the only people here who knew about meeting andi.....until now

)
After the house we went to Gordon College, the college where my parents graduated and met each other. Coincidentilly, Heather also graduated from there too. We watched a Field Hockey game, and I looked around in the bookstore with Mom.
After the game we went to Woodman's for lunch with Heather and her friend, Jill.
After lunch Jill left and the rest of us went on the beach and walked around. I collected seashells and a beach plant ( a weed really....) I'll show you them sometime.
After the beach we went back to the hotel and rested. After resting we went to Newport with Heather and walked around. We shopped in a bookstore. We also ate dinner at Bono, where I watched a little bit of Toy Story 2 O.o
After dinner we dropped off Heather and went back to the B&B. Then went to bed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sunday, October 19, 2003
Packed up early and left the B&B......
Stopped at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast on the way to Durham, New Hampshire to visit some more friends of Mom & Dad. 8:45 we got to the IMMENSE church where we met them. (Name's are Chuck and Laura. Have 2 kids: Jacob (boy) and Jordyn (girl) )
Had church with them, then went to their house.
Helped Laura with lunch a bit by cutting Green Beans........kids were overactive.....Jacob knows how to use a computer at age 3 and a half.....blah blah blah....
Had lunch with them.....showed them the pics (including andi) (showed Heather the pics too, including andi.)
Talked.......played with kids......lalalalalala.......left around 2 something.
Drove back to Boston airport......waited for a long time to board, read Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix (have to for school...)....turns out the reason we were the last people on the plane was because the mike was broken and we didn't here them call......but we didn't miss the flight.
Flew to Philadelphia......had more pretzels...
Got back to Phili.......did the security/baggage/return car/wait for shuttle to parking lot bit.............
Finally got back to car. Drove home, stopping at Rest Area for dinner (me only...) Got home at 10:00. Went to bed.
