Weed is almost legal

Yes you heard that right, Canada our Priminister has sighned a thing which lets marajawana not go on your record if your caught with it, you just get a fine of like $30 and nothing goes on your record. Whatay think of that?

It will still be illegal it would be legal if they see you with it and not saying anything to you like with Ciggarrets if older 18.

Actually, the fine is around $300, not $30. But yes, you don't get anything on your criminal record from smoking pot. This is old news, though. I've known about this since early September...I can't blame them either. If anything, it means less crime. I mean, have you ever seen a pothead rob a liquior store?

Well, back on topic. I think it could even be a good thing for the Government. They could even end up making money off of this deal. Just think - they're selling medicinal pot to people, and if they become a big source for the stuff, they could end up getting rich off of this. Of course, we would need alot more sick people in order to do this...

Well, I know know a few people who would move to Canada if they knew this was being passed XD but yeah it's kinda good kinda bad... there's problably gonna be lots more stoners now, but I guess that might cancel out if the crime in Canada goes down, I donno really it's not that big of a deal really, most people who take the chance to buy and smoke weed are usually ready for the concequences... unless it's some kid that's being pressured into it.

Yes! GO Canada. Pot should be completely legal. Its no worse than cigarretes or alcohol. Yet certain countries *coughamericacough* insist on wasting millions of dollars a year on imprisoning poor shmoes caught with joints.

Pot should be legalized. I belive in those who say it isn't any worse than alcohole and tobacco, and if it is; it is the user's own fault (just like with....alcohole and tobacco).

I misunderstood the poll. I thought you meant that Canada were up to legalize weed, not just don't put "smoking marijuana" on your record and instead give you a fine, so I voted "Go Canada Go".

I don't smoke weed, but I wouldn't have anything against just try it once.

You are completely uneducated in these matters. You know what that means? You are a naive idiot. Thank you. Now go smoke out and die.

Drinking alcohol in moderation is beneficial to one's body. It clears out the arteries. Drinking alcohol to excess is not beneficial. In fact, it just downright sucks. You get drunk. You do stupid things. People get raped. People get in car crashes. People get their stomach pumped. People act pyschotic.

Smoking cigarettes isn't a great choice. It screws up your lungs, it screws up your fingernails, it screws up your teeth, etc. In some cases it doesn't, but most of the time it does.

And what about marijuana? Go look it up yourself. Listen to your health teacher, your guidance counselor, or some other person who tells you.

The point of this post? Explaining what I listed in paragraph one. The end.
