I could use advices...

Here's the thing/thang.
My birthday is coming up, it's on the 12th October.
I want to do something fun with my friends, but I can't come up with anything rather than sitting and listening to music, which is just boring.

I was thinking of telling my friends to bring 2 controllers for GameCube, which makes it 4 with my controllers (for the hard understanding: 2 + 2 = 4)

Then, we could have a sort of tournament with my GC games.
For an example, we could have a sort of tournament in Soul Calibur 2, or why not Super Smash Bros. Melee?

What do you think?

Umm...well to me having a tournament in SSBM (especially when the people are really good) is really fun. I've never tried having a tournament in SCII, so i cant say anything about that.
How about try renting a movie of some sorts? Thats what I did at my last party (we saw the Ring) It was cool. Or get one of those foozball (sp? its those soccer game things youll find at arcades and stuff) tables. People love foozball

Playing GC sounds great! And compared to drinking it is the most rational! Have fun with your friends!!

The tournament sounds good, but I would do something else. Maybe go to a water park, movie, etc. Staying inside all day might be okay, but I doubt your friends really want to do that.

eh well it depends on your age. if your 13-16 it sounds like a good plan. but if your older i really suggest getting drunk and having a huge party... its quite fun

if you're gonna be inside all day having a smash party.. you should have around 10-15 people that way everyone is cramped and pissed and the battles get super intense when a lot of people are in a small room... and you're sure about the "no alcohol"?

You could do nothing, keep yoru beer/cubr to yourself and jack off all night.... But this is about your friends nevermind.

Well, the tournament does sound good, but that would get old. Maybe if your friends have any other games tournamentable, you could do more than one tournament.

I would rent or go see a movie if I were you. Or you can all go for a hike and picnic in a park or on a trail. Then there will be less opportunity for parent intrusion, if its going to be that kind of party. And you get to spend a day in the glorious outdoors.

Well, you should have the tournament, yes, and also, you need to go rolling. Brings up the exitment. Also, Truth or Dare might be in order. Not the lame one, where you sit around and tell secret things, the one that is exiting and daring. Also, have a contest on who can make up the funniest story. Then, pull some pranks on your brothers or friends or whatever. There's probably more, but I can't think of anytihng else.

Yeah, that sounds fun, playing vidio games heh, got any good racing games, play those, too. It's always fun to try and hit the other person if they try to pass you
