I don't think so, because now that new people come on, we can start up the topics again! But that's just me. Is bring back threads beyond page 2 breaking an unwritten ZU rule? Because I kind of want to...

I dont think so cause in my days I didnt know that it was annoying to bring back old threads and I brought back a lot. I dont do it any more and some threads are too good to die. But as far as I know its no rule.

It can get very annoying, very easily, and very quickly. Doing it occasionally is fine, but PLEASE use common sense at least.

well, considering the fact that there have been SO many new threads lately, i've seen topics slip past to page two within a day of being posted...
so i really don't know... the unwritten rule for me has always been "let dead topics lie", because there was probably a reason they died... but if it's only been dead for a week or less, then you should revive it instead of starting a new one... of course, the desktop topic is always an exception, for that topic automatically has a place near and dear to my heart... :::shrugs::: that's just my opinion though, why do you ask?

It sort of depends to me. If its a topic that jsut floated out due to way to many other ones, then I have nothing against it. If it is a topic that suddenly has new relevence, its cool to bring it back then starting a new one. But if there is really no point to it anymore because its so long gone, let it stay there. /Shrug
