Kaiju!!!

Yep. This is a thread for nothing but those crazy Japanese monsters. Now I'm not putting this in the Entertianment forum because this is talk about te monsters, not the movies, I'll be making one of those soon though.

Okay, so this thread can get popular, first off, who's your favorite Kaiju and why?

What's the scariest Kaiju?

I think the scariest form of monster is fear....like freddy krouger

Kaiju are Japanese monsters, i.e-Godzilla, Mothra, Ghidrah or any monster that's either Japanese made or in a Japanese movie. My avy is of Varan from the movie "Varan the Unbelievable". He's a Kaiju. But the two best examples and most famous of Kaiju are Godzilla and Gamera.

Cool. Have you seen any of the Godzilla movies or do you just know of him?

Orga or Ghidora, hard choice. Orga has the huge open mouth, the shoulder cannon, and the oversized hands. Ghidora, he has three heads, three tails, turns into Death Ghidora AND Mecha- Ghidora, and they are both cool, awesome, and just plain bad ass.

Orga's really cool, he reminds me of an evil Gamera, although I wish his fight with Godzilla in Godzilla 2000 would've been a bit more exciting.

Death Ghidorah was awesome, but personally I liked Grand Ghidorah better.

yea i saw a godzilla movie a long time ago, and i saw one about a year ago on the sci-fi channel...but i dont know if there have been any on recently considering i rarely watch tv anymore.

Do you remember anything about them? Like mainly who was fight? Because then I'd know what you saw possibly.

I never heard of any of them except Godzilla I have seen the movies that's why but that was a long time ago. Really long ago. Though I have never seen any of those other monsters before.

Would Totoro be counted as a Kaiju? Because he is a monster.
If so, he is definately my favorite. Other then that? Ya, I like Godzilla.

Not sure. With me no, because Kaiju are Japanese monsters that are in movies, are gigantic, and assault cities and fight against helpless military. He might be though.

Heheheh, i have a bunch of old godzilla tapes from when i was a kid...........my favorite was always "Godzilla vs. Mecha Godzilla" 0_0

Do you mean the first Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla made in 1974? The one with King Seesar? I like that one a lot, one of my first to see, and one of the few Godzilla movies where I can sit and watch the human parts without getting bored. :p

I've seen a Godzilla vs. Mothra, and clips from a few others. They were pretty good. And I also saw the american godzilla 2000 or whatever, which was.....uh........okay I guess.
