Who else looks to boards?
Yeah...i have noticed that a lot of people go to their board/s looking for some personal advice (i know i have) so, i am wondering, do YOU go to boards for help? And not on video games, either.

No not really... there are some people from the board I have on msn and aim lists and I would ask them for help..
But I don't think I'd post it on the board directly

I don't think i have ever gone in front of a whole board and asked, i might have though. The peopel i know better from a board i will talk to off of it and if i need advice i ask.

Yup. Definitely. I've gone to a couple members here for personal help.

BBD is the main person for stuff like that. And when my school's forum starts up, I'll look to Remus for any help with phpBB and downloading hacks, and basically everything.

What? I haven't told you that yet? Well, now I did.

I've never tried to get help on message boards for anything, though I've gotten into that kind of discussion while in regular conversation.

yeah, i'm the same as remmy.

i join message boards for some people to chat with, and if advice comes up during that, then i appreciate it...

really, i honestly never ask advice from people. in anything...

i think i've only done it twice in the past six months, actually... hrm.

Why are some many people saying that people will most likely give bad advice? Even if they did which i doubt is the case it is easy enough tot dismiss it for what is better.
