Thumbs up The Shakespeare Thread

What/how many works of Shakespeare have you read? Which was your favourite? Least favourite? Why?
I've read Taming of the Shrew, Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar, and Macbeth. I loved all of them, but Romeo and Juliet is by far my favourite.

Re: The Shakespeare Thread

For one, please don't say that anything is a fact unless you have plausible proof that you can show me. Two, the differences in stories were because he was a great author. He varied his writings. Why would he write everything alike? For three: System of a Down endorses it? What the hell? Is that supposed to mean something to me?

Re: The Shakespeare Thread

I read A Midsummer Night's Dream last year. It's pretty funny. I think we'll be doing Romeo and Juliet this year.

Re: The Shakespeare Thread

Hmm... I had to read "Much Ado About Nothing" over the summer for Honors English. It's okay... sort of amusing, but okay. ^_^ I think I'll be reading Romeo and Juliet for school in the near future as well.

Re: The Shakespeare Thread

I read Romeo and Juliet when studying western literature for English. Loved the character Mercutio, and his name kinda stuck on me...

Re: The Shakespeare Thread

The only one I've read is Midsummer Night's Dream, which I did last year in english. Its a good story, and was pretty funny at parts. Then I had to see a movie version set in italy, and it somewhat ruined it for me. And that woman from Ally McBeal was in it. Her name escapes me at the moment.

I loved the Mercutio character as well. ^_^ I'm doing his Queen Mab bit for my monologue to enter a performing arts high school.
