Craziest thing youv'e done while travelling

Hey Everyone, I thought it would be funny to have a section on something stupid, crazy or embarrasing thing youv'e done when travelling.

The craziest thing I did when travelling was in April 2005 when I was in Saigon, Vietnam. I was just about too cross the road. I looked to my right, there was no cars so I begun too cross. Then I heard a BEEP! and turned and ran back. Because I was anaware that the traffic drove on the "wrong" side of the road (in Australia we drive on the Left).:embrsd:

Yeah, I think that can happen a lot When my grandpa and uncle went to Canada, they were always getting confused about that sort of thing. When they were getting into the car they were driving in, they would sit in the wrong side and then have to change over (as my uncle doesn't drive).
A story with me is this one time I was on a long bus trip with a friend of mine, when these guys at the back of the bus started talking to us. We were pretty young and were probably thinking about them being stalkers or something (not that they weren't nice or anything, though!) so we made up all this stuff about us that wasn't true, including fake names. When we finally got back to the station, my friend went to go to the toilet or to buy something, and then she heard someone call the name she'd made up for herself and it was the guys waving at her. She came back and said she nearly hadn't turned round to see them because she forgot she was supposed to be named that.

The craziest thing I did while travelling happened about a week ago, when I was travelling in Ghana. I helped some guys slaughter a goat - they held the arms and legs, and I had to cut through it's throat with a big knife.

haha, I had a 9 hour stopover in London coming back, and something similar happened to me...I laugh at stupid things, and, forgetting that cars drive on the left, I was standing in the middle of the lane laughing at a "speed humps" sign. I almost got hit by a car...

I took a "shower" at a gas station sink on the way back from the beach because me and my buddy couldn't find a real shower anywhere.

The "shower" basically consisted of me standing naked with flip-flops on in front of the sink while splashing my groin with water. I don't know if any of you know, but it's particularly uncomfortable to ride for 6 hours soaking wet and covered in sand. Desperate times call for desperate measures!

I dried off with paper towels and the thing that blows your hands (lots of fun O_o), put my clean undies and clothes on, left, went across the road and eat lots of shrimp and drank!

What a damn fun trip.

That's hilarious, unless the car hit you, then that wouldn't be too good.

The crazyist thing I've done while traveling was call a soft beverage a "soda", instead of "pop". I confused the person I was talking to. Intense.

I nearly shattered a like....$1000 hotel door in Manhattan ()_();

Talk about being over excited.

I once knocked a shelf full of food over in a petrol station, my teacher laughed so hard...

What I did I'll never forget. I was with my mom and both my sisters, and we were waiting for our flight back home from Amsterdam. We were supposed to be waiting for 10 hours which drove me nuts. Well, since I was so bored after three hours, I did something that only an idiot would do: I ran from our wing to the farthest one on the other side, and back, and I continued doing that. Yeah, people were watching me, wondering what I was doing, and I did it for about another 4 hours (with at least 20 washroom breaks ), but I felt never better afterwards. Yeah, I'll never forget that.

Tried to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge. I also climbed underneath it (those support beams are huge!). On that same vacation, I also almost got myself pounded to bits as I stood in the shallows of a surf beach. Those large round rocks kind of hurt, especially when they hit you in the head.

Once I was on a plane to Flordia and when I pulled out my labtop I didnt realize the volume was all the way up. So I started playing Doom Chronicals and when I used the sniper gun (louldest gun) it was so lould that some guy jumped down on the floor yelling "PLEASE DONT KILL ME!!!!!! Then everyone found out and started laughing lol. No im not jokeing lol this really happened.

Craziest? Well, I'm not quite sure..... Once my family went to Disney Land and we went on Splash Mountain. When you are on it there is this one really steep fall. Once when we were on it I saw all this water rushing at me so I ducked and my dad who was behind me ended up soaked. I wasn't crazy, but it was really funny. For me any way. My dad didn't think do for some unknown reason.

Hmmm.....Once when I went over to my country's sister isle (my country is composed of 2 islands, Trinidad and Tobago), I tied my tour guide's luggage to the rail on the ferry and threw it overboard, all her clothes got wet, and she quit her job when we got back to Trinidad....

While vacationing in California, I taxed some drugs off of this guy who was tripping out of his mind on the street. I figured it would be a favor to him. Man, he was sooo far gone. He must be really pissed right now.
