Holy! ZU is being sold?

I do think that perhaps Lee is right in selling it. He hasn't exactly been the most active owner, and he is doing what is right for us.

Just make sure memberships don't cost money.....

I'd buy it if it cost about 2 cents (oh no I use that too much)

Anyways why don't you (Lee) just give it to one of the other webmasters? I'm sure they aren't going to pay 75,000 dollars but I'd prefer if someone whos familer with ZU got the site. GoldenChaos maybe. But I doubt it. You want that money I'm sure.

Spamming and acting like a moron won't help anything we do end up getting off to a rough start, that kind of stupidity would only make things harder. Hm, to all of the post that don't want ZU to be sold: I think the owner would know what's best for ZU than any member, mod, or admin here. I'm sure that no jackass will get the site and screw it up, if he/she did then he/she wasted a damn good amount of money which would be a retarded move on his/her part. So I highlly doubt that something like that would happen, people on the Interwebz aren't that stupid (There's stupid people on the Internet but not stupid enough to waste large amounts of money to buy a site and screw it up for no reason and gain no profit from it.), and even if there was I think Lee would be smart enough to realize if this person is an complete idiot or not. So there, that's my thoughts about this.

Heh, I just get here after a sale and BAM! there's another one. Well, I understand his reasons. And I agree with Mirren and Lord Ganon, Lee will know what he's doing. ZU won't get sold to some idiot who would waste all that money and screw up the site. I have faith! It will be interesting to see who the new owner is.

I am a bit disappointed that ZU is going to be sold again...but it is probably for the best. As some people have said before me, Lee hasn't really done much for this forum IMO. But the immature people that are threatening to spam up the place...think of this...you will not be punishing the new web master, yes it may be frustrating...but what is it going to achieve? All it is going to do is give the mods and people that help run this site smoothly more work to do and it will not give this site a great out look. Oh well...I put in my moneys worth...

If I owned ZU, I would sell it for $100.

Really, it makes me sick to see people like Lone Wolf. Someone who has been a member for a while but he'll still act like a n00b just because of a change that he wouldn't like (I'm not saying that the change will happen, I'm saying that this person would do it if there is a change that he doesn't like.). And there is one question I may ask: What good will it do if you spammed the forums before you leave these forums?

Looks like there are some mixed thoughts. Uhh. I respect the decision and I can see from Lee's point of view. He's even being humble about it. And his reasons are good. I don't know him personally at all, but I'm absolutely certain that he is considering the best of interest of everybody. I trust his judgement whole heartedly. I personally don't see the content changing drastically because of a change of hands, much less a membership fee. And as far as I know, dosen't Lars still maintain some degree of control? So should it turn out for the worse...

I did flame once toward a member, but I have enough sense that I didn't go all out and started spamming all over. I like the site, but I have a life as well (what a shock, eh?). The world will not end if this site is gone for whatever reasons are out there.

Everyone needs to calm down. Lee is not going to sell the site to "some *******" who would make certain content available to paying members only. If he did, spamming would not be the answer.
