13:07 An armed thief has stuck a gun in the face of a US store manager and forced them to hand over two Xbox 360 consoles.

According to a report on GameSpot, the robbery occurred yesterday morning at an Electronics Boutique branch in Stafford, Virginia, but ultimately for the perpetrator proved unsuccessful. Police were quick to respond, catching the thief not long after he or she made a getaway from the shop. Sorry mate, but you'll just have to buy one like everyone else.

Happily, no one was injured during the event.

Further reports that the two Xbox 360s stolen are currently undergoing counselling following the traumatic ordeal remain unconfirmed.

I only care because I live in Stafford.

I actually find this kind of funny. Of all things, the guy chooses to try and steal 360s. I mean...it's 360 for God's sake...

I'm not shock a the fact someone would steal a X-Box 360, but only a true video game nerd would try to wave a gun at someone just to get a video game system, but, how we knw tis sotry is true? Do you have a link to this story?

-seriously, i mean wating in line for 14 hours and paying 2,500 bucks on the internet for a 360' is one thing, but holding someone up at gun-point? whats next... someone worships a xbox 360 as their new god?

I think you don't realize that this man was willing to go to JAIL for the 360. A Thousand Dollars is nothing compared to JailTime.

well..maybe this wouldnt've happend if the bloody 360 wasnt so expensive...i mean $400 dollars for the decent version...anyway, if ur gonna steal something...make it worth 10 years of your life...no doubt there will be a X-Box 1080 later on in those 10 years

I really don't see why. The Xbox 360 is certainly not that good.
