Favorite Resturant
Where would you like to eat? Where dinner makes your day? Where if someone asked you out, you would demand to be taken? What is your favorite place to eat?
There is this awsome all you can eat buffet in Camden, which serves vegetarian Thai food, but there is a special art to their food, so it looks and tastes exactly like meat. Most times when I go out to a chinese resturant, I make do with spring rolls and noodles, but this is the place where I can eat chicken curry, peking duck rolls and chow mein, without worrying at all.; It's cheap too, 4 pounds fifty (I think around 10 dollars in America). That resturant is my all time favorite. ![]()

Re: Favorite Resturant
YAY for good thread. I think someone deserves a cookie. *gives a cookie*
Yea, well... there is this Mexican Resturant in my city called Dona Maria's that has the best Mexican Food I have ever had. Since it is family owned, it has great staff and my family are great friends with them. They have great food from Chimichangas (sp?) to Enchaladas (sp?) and it is all great. I used to live in Austin, TX where you couldn't throw a dead cat without hitting a Mexican Resturant and nothing there even compares to Dona Maria's. It's just great food and I am sure I would go there every day if I could. I'd probably alternate with Bone Fish Grill, my second favorite resturant. Much more expensive then Dona Maria's but it has a great Grill Tuna. *Yum*

Re: Favorite Resturant
I have a few I really like, and I'll list them in no paticular order:
-This Indian Food place by my house I don't know the name of. It has the most awesome food ever. This chicken dish called Butter Chicken, and a spinach dish I don't know the name of off the top of my head, just completely make my day. -Red Robins. It's a chain, and has one dish I just love. So much that I always get it as my birthday meal. It has turkey, mayo, lettuce, bacon, avacado, on a crossant role. I could be forgetting a few ingredients there, but the point is is that it tastes good. -Charlie Changs. It's a Chinese restraunt by the apartment we lived in back when our current house was being built. It has a buffet with yummy chicken, lo mein (sp?), mussles (the sea animal in the shell kind), shrimp, and other varying dishes. It's good, though not wonderful. -Rio Grande. It's a reeeeeally good Mexican food place. We always get this huge dish there that has ribs, guacamole, shrimp covered in bacon with dipping butter, freshly made chips, tortillas so freshly made they have the machine that makes them right in the front of the restraunt so you get them straight after they're pressed and cooked, a sort-of-spicy rice dish, along with other food. -Cracker Barrel. While on our vacation, we ran into a whole lot of these. We can usually only go to it once a year when traveling to our cousins, but there's also one near my brother's college to eat at now. It has some okay food, but I once had a Chicken Pot Pie there that was perfect. -Outback Steakhouse. I haven't eaten there in ages, and I don't plan to until I go to Flordia again. I had a pasta crawfish dish there years ago that I haven't forgotten the taste of. I need that again sometime. I need to eat, now. I made myself hungry. |

Re: Favorite Resturant
Ooooooooooohhh.... fun, my favorite resturants, eh?
1. Sushi Sam's Sushi S' is a Japanese Sushi Bar. They also serve other stuff too. I like their sushi alot, although I usually just go for the Chicken Teriyaki - Tempura combo box. That stuffs to die for. 2. Tokyo One Tokyo one is a Japanese buffet (see a pattern here?). It's tempura and teriyaki isn't as good as Sushi Sam's, although their Sushi Buffet is great. Sashimi+Sushi=Heaven (do the math). The food quality here is good, but falls a bit short of Sushi S', so it gets 2nd. 3. The Shell gas station in my city Although you may be thinking, "What... A gas station?", Their Burgers are the best in the whole county. Do not deny the high quality beef. You know you want it. 4. Fish City Grill Seafood, next to Asian stuff, has to be my single FAVORITE type of food. The grilled fish here is great, and the fish and chips is great. Plus, their choice of fish is pretty good too. 5. I.H.O.P. IHOP, the International House of Pancakes, is really good. I have a massive sweet tooth, and I love drenching my hotcakes in syrup.... mmmmmm... syrup.

Re: Favorite Resturant
Amazing, you can make good thread ideas that havn't been taken 100 times. Well, here are mine:
On the day to day fast food deal: Chickfila, taco bell or wendys. On a once every other week deal: The chinese restraunt near me. That stuff is good On a more like every month deal: Cancun, olive garden, another local place, and cracker barrel. ~Ganon not gannon

Re: Favorite Resturant
Well, I've always loved Asain food. There's this pace called Gosh! in my town. It got wrecked in Hurricane Jeanne last year (the kitchen fell into a sinkhole), so they moved to the local country club and are still there as far as I know. They have awesome sushi, and they shape it to look like its name (Volcano Roll, Caterpillar Roll). The beef teryaki is amazing too, as are the egg roles!
Another really good resturaunt exclusive to my hometown (we're so special) is at a swanky hotel downtown. It's called the Terrace Grille (spelled with an 'e'!) and it is amazing, but expensive! Breakfast pancakes cost $10! But anyway, those are my two favorite places to go and eat! K.M. |

Re: Favorite Resturant
Oh man. I have quite a few favorite restaurants, but I'm limiting the list to only a few. Well, here they are.
Rosies- Probably one of the best Mexican Restaurants I've ever eaten at. The salsa is mouth-watering delicious and the food is absolutely out of this world. Ricatoni's- The best italian restaurant ever. All their pizza's are made in an authenic pizza oven imported from Italy and there very good. Their not really all that expensive either for a sit-down restaurant. Shoguns: It's a Japanese Restaurant which prepares the food in front of you. It's very entertaining, and they make sure you don't go hungry either (very large portions). Though they're quite pricey, it's definally worth every penny you spend eating there. |

Re: Favorite Resturant
Osaka - A Japanese restaurant similar to Benihana. Excellent food and amazing cooks. Not sure if it's a franchise or not, but the only one I ever saw was in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Rio Cafe - Best meal I've ever had. My dad and I went here only once, a fancy restaurant in Scottsdale (snooty town in Arizona) to celebrate his raise or something. It's endless, authentic Brazilian food and holy **** is it good. So much juicy, delicious meat of so many different varities! It was amazing! The bill for just the two of us came to $70, but I'd say it was totally worth it. I'd pay that much to go there with someone again one day. Islands - Best burgers ever. No arguments.

Re: Favorite Resturant
My utter favorites will always be...
Pizza Roma: Awesome pizza chain in Greece. They have these small slices right, small crust, hot tomato sauce, then an inch of cheese. It may sound nasty but it is goooooood. Pizza Top: Little known pizza place in my Greek family's summer home in Vuvuru. enourmus pizzas with small but good cheese.

Re: Favorite Resturant
Well, Steak n' Shake. Best steakburgers, fries, and milkshakes you'll ever get. The only thing that might be better is a mom and pop diner.
Oh, there's this South American resteraunt over in Colorado, I forget the name. They have the freakin' best steaks ever! All you can eat good meat for only 50 dollars a person. It's great.
