A bit too late, but I'll join the boat.

Yep, it’s official. I am leaving ZU and I don’t know when I’ll return. The reason why I’m leaving is because I really need to get my social life and family life together. I had gotten in a real big argument with my dad last Thursday and I didn’t like how I was being. I feel that this time away from ZU will help me improve on my relations with my family.

As for my social life, I do have friends but I don’t really talk to them much and I would like to use the time away from ZU to get to know them better. I am trying to find a job as well and I feel that I am getting close to getting one. So yeah, I’m leaving ZU on account of social reasons. However, I will occasionally stop by in the chat and I will be on AIM, YIM, or MSN at times. You can contact me at these names:

Before I leave though, I’d like to thank some follow ZU’ers for helping me out:

Captain Cornflake: I used to hate him, back when I was known as big_al and he was known as capncornflake. Then, I started to get along with him and he truly was a teacher. Not to sound like I’m sucking up, but he truly was a mentor. He may be banned now, but he still lives on in essence.

Leminnes: At first when I met him in the chat, I thought he was an idiot as he wanted to know who Eric was. After a few months or so, he has improved greatly and he is one of the best graphic artists I’ve seen.

Alonely: I never really got to know her well until around July. After talking to here via YIM then AIM, I got to know just how wonderful Alonely is as both a person and artist. Plus, she is pretty beautiful to boot.

sadida: Another great artist on ZU, I remember the nice comments she gave on my artwork and story and it made me feel good to know that an artist as great as she was calling my work good.

SearanoX: He was one of the many to help me not become such an idiot and still does help me if I get out of line. Not only that, but he got me into power metal and death metal and is after all, a musical guru.

Scott: Like Sear, he helped me not become such an idiot and still does help me if I do anything considerably stupid. Plus, he was good to talk to in the chat at times.

Asci: At first when I met him, it was when he wanted to get banned from ZU. I had thought he was stupid, but after seeing him in the chat, I got to really like him as he was overall funny and could still be serious.

Gecko: I got to know Gecko pretty well back when I was known as Squall15. A lot of people didn’t like me still, but Gecko did and like Asci, he was funny and was guaranteed to make me laugh.

Sizzlin’: Recently, I got to know him well and he is pretty much like me. I always did look forward to his rants and he makes some pretty decent sigs that I like.

Zelda’s Guardian/Citizen Snips/Green Tunic: At first, I didn’t like this kid, but after seeing his posts in the General Gaming forums, I started to like him and he had made some good valid points on game consoles. I hope he can keep this behavior up.

Bobslob: He is one of the most mature ZU’ers I know of and he’s pretty good to debate with over in AIM. He was the biggest influence in my political views and I thank him for that.

e_alert: A damn good graphic artist, he’s 2nd to Radek in graphic arts and is somebody good to talk to about anything, though he’s not on the chat much.

Kess: She’s hardly on ZU, but she is an exceptionally good artist and I have loved her work ever since 2003. I still do get to see her art on her DA and I see that she is getting better.

GoldChaos: I remember when he had made me my first sig and how much I liked it. He was somebody good to talk to if I had problems and still is. He’s also pretty happy and carefree for an admin.

Mess: He may have quit ZU a long time ago, but I still chat to him occasionally on AIM. He’s pretty mature and quite fun to talk to.

There’s many more I’d like to thank, but it doesn’t mean I hate you if you’re not on the list.

Yeah, I know we've never really talked before, but you're awesome. ZU will be a slightly less hilarious place without you. Hope you get your family problems sorted out soon, mate.

You make him sound like he is bad... he wasn't mean to people at all, he was truthful and the truth hurts sometimes.
