The Meaning of Your Name

What do you real name (first name) mean. (like in latin, or grece, or in other tongue).
(You don't need to say your name, I thinks it will do, only the meaning)

My name means "Life"

Ok well Surreira (my last name) means alley way were people relieve themselves. At least that's what my grandparents said.
Fontoura (my other last name) means Golden Fountain
I have two last names because when my mom had me her and my father weren't married so she decided to put here last name in the mix.

My first name means "pure" and, this is the complete opposite of me, but my last name means "farmer". So basically, I'm "Pure Farmer". That's exactly what I'm not, actually.

I don't know which language my first name comes from, but my last name is Polish.

My first name Elin is a short version of Helen and means "the light". My last name simply means "Northern Valley" in Norwegian.

So I guess I'm "the light" from the Northern Valley

My first name means "Bearing Christ".

Well Alexander means Helper of mankind, defender of men. So I guess I am the defender of alleyways. Or helper of fountains. Wow, my names don't make sense compared to your names.

Oh and Surreira and Fontoura are both Portugesse.

My first name, Smauel, means gift of god. My last name means "dog of the sea". That indicates that my ancestors may have been pirates.

My name Philip Means Lover of Horses... I'm not sure if that really applies to me but Philip was also a apostle of Jesus... yea... he was also a few kings of random places like France. I also have two middle names, one means brave boar and the other means God is my judge... I quite the biblical name... my last name means well-built, stable in greek. So all togeather I am a well built brave boar that loves horses whom god is his judge... weird.

Rachel means ewe. Not "ew" as in the sound one makes when they are grossed out, but "ewe" as in a female lamb.

Lambs are cool, so I'm okay with it.

At least, that's my take on all three names. All three parts come from Latin, English and Italian - not respectively.

My first name means defender of men, and my last name is shourded in mystery. My last name could be the name of a Shoeshone cheif, seeing as I am part Shoeshone so that's the best I can say.

As for my first name, it has another meaning to it. According to this site on the movie, Clockwork Orange, my first name has another meaning:

So, I take the place of floods. weird, one way. Evil, in another.

Well, my first name means man of the earth, and my last name means either "soldier" or "consolation."

So, I could put this in two ways: "Soldier of Man/Earth" or "Man of Consolation"

My first name means "beloved" in Japanese. I have no idea what my last name means.

Ronald is an Old Norse name for mighty. I've seen "ruler's consueler" on several occasions though. My last name, I don't think literally, but sounds quite like it pretains to "embarassing"(works for all tenses, methinks) in Cantonese(Chinese dialect).
