10,000$

Ok, Hypothetical situation time. Your walking down the street, and someone walks up to you and hands you an envelope with 10,000$ in it. He tells you that its yours, and you could spend it on whatever you want. There is no catch, no obligation; just 10,000$ to do whatever you please.

What would you do with it?

I admit it; I am a material person who would instantly go out and buy stuff. No charity, no saving. Perhaps I am selfish and foolish, but its the truth. It will be interesting to see everyone's adittude on money.

Really, though, I would probably just save it. I seem to do alright as is now without extra cash, so i'd probably just put it in the bank until I do have some use for it.

I'd buy a plane ticket to North Carolina. I'd go. I'd meet Heather, rent a car, and take her to a wonderful dinner. It'd be great. Then, when I finish college, I'll go back to NC and live with her, but actually have money for rent instead of being broke.

Rent my own apartment in Stavanger.
Then I wouldn't have to get a part-time job, and focus more on school.

Get somebody to mod a Ps2, GC and X-Box together and super fast computer all in one.

And built in wireless router for the DS.

Or maybe get somebody to mod the GC down to handheld, that would be good.

And 10grand is nothing amazing... 100m is a much better number.

I would spend about $400 on entertainment stuff from Target, give $12,000 to charity (I would have $8,400 left), and save the remaining money i have or give $8,000 more to charity.

If I had $10,000, I would probalby get something similar to what Epy showed. That or I would get a cheap used car for $5,000, (perferbaly a Jeep or a Mustang) then I would get a B.C Rich Warlock bass along with an H&K amp, and then an Xbox. (complete with Halo 1 & 2, Fable, DDR, Dead or Alive 4, Metal Slug, and Ninja Gaiden)

I would buy the a new car with it. Im thinking of buying a 2002 used Freelander for 12700. And if i had that extra 10000. I would buy it no second thoughts.

I'd buy a plane/train ticket down to Liverpool to see my girlfriend. Or, failing that, a big-ass TV with wicked surround speakers. And a new VCR, because my old one's minted.

That's a good (and tough) question. Hmm...I guess I would just keep it
until I can actually think of some use for it. But...the first thing I would
buy, at the moment, would be a new Nintendo DS as the top screen
