what was the first thing you thought on ZU icons?

what was the first thing you thought was wierd on ZU?
mine was when i joined i thought super mod ment that super moderators were super models.
now i realise they are moderators
same thing with globel mod
i thought they were models from around the world :embrsd:

Anyways I didn't exactly know what PM meant I had to keep asking because I wanted to know really badly. I think I knda got annoying when I didn't mean to.

The only thing I realized is how many girls are into playing Zelda. Never had a clue that there were that many.

lol, I didn't realise there were forums other than the ones for Zelda until 2 weeks after I joined. And, that was with being online everyday. I don't really pay much attention to what I'm looking at. :embrsd:

That was a heck of a long time ago, heh... Hmmmm. Lemme see.. When I first started getting into the community, they had Super Mods, but no section mods. Every mod was a super mod, with maybe one or two exceptions. I remember thinking that that was really odd.

I was looking for info on TP, when I came across this page. I never thought people were so into to Zelda as I am.

When I first came here I thought it was odd that most of the discussion seems to happen in the non-Zelda forums. And, to top it off, some members don't even read them anymore.

...After a short time, I figured it out. One, spam. Two, burnout. It's hard to keep finding new topics to talk about.

I thought the clans sounded strange. I wasn't at all sure what they were supposed to be, really. A group, a team, a cult? On my first day, I had no idea, so I had to ask what they were for.

When I first came here, I thought that Lioness's general outline of ideas for the personalities of BA characters were requirements. So, I spent about three hours typing up a paragraph or so about each insignificant point, then edited it down to a modest size... all to have it slammed by LinkMS.

Which was due to the confusing nature of the profile, because of all of the, what I thought to be, required elements of the character.

I understood what clans meant, but my problem was how to join in. I pm a lot of people that were in clans already asking them how could i join them, but mostly all clan members were dicks because they felt to good enough to answer me, like thinking i was stupid for asking or that since they probably suffered throughout the same doubts in there time other people should suffer too.

I wasn't farmilar with board clans at all before I joined ZU. So that sort of struck me as an odd thing, but seemed like a pretty good idea nevertheless. And now that I've joined, I guess it's fun but I really had the perception that was lots of posts in the message board. By my standards though, there was hardly that.

Yeah. That kind of struck me as odd too. I haven't been in a fourm with a traditional user creation of roleplays that goes by their own rules and such, but this approval system sounded rather unique albeit quite weird. But good stuff as it kind of provides a wall against the newberts who basically write their fantasy battle of Mario vs Sonic for the said whatsamajigger gem and whatnot(if anybody's been to Zelda Romance, to be frank, that was pretty much what the roleplay board was like). Still, there isn't any rule against it-- there just isn't really a long term "adventure roleplay" so to speak. Meh.

The thing I thought was wierd was the Siggs and avatars

I couldn't get why people kept putting (sp?) after some words...

I never knew there wwre so many hardcore Nintendo fans still left around.
