Know Anyone in the Sevice?

My 21 year old brother is in the Marines. Hes going to Iraq in March and we'll see him for Chirstmas. He's staying in Iraq for 6 month....loading bombs on planes! Well what about you? Put were there in (branch) and what there doing.

My friends cousin is in iraq and got shot, but hes ok now thank god.

My Dad was an anesthesiologist in one of the CCATT teams, but he's been back for awhile. I have three cousins in the military in one way or another. One's in Coast Guard, one I'm not sure about, and one of them is your basic front-line soldiering type. One of the ones that actually get shot at.

Pretty funny that I have so many relatives involved, seeing how much I am against the whole mess.

My dad has a friend who stationed over in Iraq. He was there 12 months with no leave time. He's back now and was expecting to get deployed to New Orleans but he won't. Oh yeah, he's in the Marines.

I'm becoming fast friends with the quick folks down at the Marines recruiting office. I went down there after they called me the first time, simply to see what they had to tell me, say no to joining, and have them leave me alone forever. While there, they made a file on me. I've since recieved three phone calls identical to the first and each time they let me know that, apparently, I'm not on file even when I know I am, having sat next to the recruiter and watched him create it. Hooray for having an organized government body!

In all seriousness, nobody I know personally is in the armed forces. My grandfather was long ago and I have an old US army uniform owned by... my dad's (late) uncle, I believe he said it was. Nobody at the moment, though.

I have two cousins, and a good friend of my brother's that are all in Iraq. The cousins are part of the Airforce, and the good friend is with the army. Last I knew he was doing stuff like repelling from choppers to deliver supplies

Well, my cousin's cousin is a pilot in the Australian Air Force but other than that, I don't really know anybody that is in the service. But there's always marine recruiters hanging around my high school. About two years ago, I had a teacher who was distantly related(I think it was second cousin) to somebody that was killed when he tried to disarm a bomb, I think. There's not much else to say for me.

My grandfather had served in the Korean War, but he is of course retired. However, my cousin is in the Air Force and is currently at Scott Air Force Base out in Illinois learning to beome a pilot for the planes that refuel the jet fighters.

My sister's boyfriend is a marine who served in Afaganistan and Iraq. He got wounded during his time in their but he's better now.

My cousin is 22 and serves in iraq, we were really close and he's cool, still don't know how he's doing

Can't think of any family members that are active, though I'm thinking of joining either the Army or Air Force.

When I googled my name someone with my name popped up as a Sergent thats I think a part of the airforce in America, does that count?

There's a guy in the anime club that I'm a part of that is in the Army.

My friend's brother's in the British Army, fighting in Iraq. He's still alive......I think....

My brother's in the marines. I haven't seen him for about 4 years, I think he's 22. He does something with planes. He's in Japan right now.

Air force is easier. My Dad was in the army and marines. My grandpa RIP was in the army i think. My next door neighbor was in WW2! and was in the army.

My dad was in Iraq with the army (I think), but he's back home now safe 'n sound.
