Internet Connection

I have a broadband DSL connection and I want it to be faster.Suggest me programs.

Get Firefox or Opera and watch your internet go faster than it did with IE (Unless of course you already have Firefox/Opera)

Yay for me! I have Satellite Internet, the cheap high-speed internet service for people who live too far out in the middle of nowhere to get cable or DSL. It's very unstable (the speed can changed drastically within a few seconds), it has a notorious problem of losing signal, and overall, it's very slow compared to DSL and cable. Meh, it's OK, but it's not ideal for playing Online Games with (Though it can WoW pretty well).

I noticed a significant difference when i went from using I.E to using Mozzila Firefox. I am currently running on DSL Broadband at a speed of 1MG. I am happy with this speed and do not wish it to be any faster.

T1 connection for me, it's alright, not better than T3 though.

I have comcast highspeed internet. i used to have dialup which was slow as ANYTHING!

This isn't what I asked for...I asked for a program that makes the connection faster.

I think you're good, but this is coming from a dude who's on 56k dialup. A program to make the connection faster? As people have siad, browsers do something. Accelerators like Marketscore-- I think they're bull. Spyware, if you will. Meh-- I don't claim to be an expert, so I apoligize if I'm not gettinmg the point.

There are acceltor like people have said i odnt belive in them get a better connection simple as if you wanter faster upload/download etc.


Acceltors can be detacted and its not uncommon for web provider to shut you down because of them.

*cough* Now why not use Google before asking questions? *cough*

Anyway, I don't think there's anything but Firefox, Deer Park, and Opera that speeds up your connection. There's no "program" for speeding up your connection, if there was, it wouldn't be free. Besides, if you have super fast broadband, why want more speed? You can just as easily go and order a new faster connection o-o.

Short of editing the registry, theres not much you can do to make your connection faster unless you switch to a better provider. My frsit suggestion would be to switch to Cable

If you want to download linage2 so bad wait it out :p

Go for it. Most of the time though the efficiency of your computer can affect the internet's speed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I notice a difference.
