Telekinesis

This is a topic that has always intrigued me. For almost a year now I have watched videos and documentarys over this. I have always wondered, is what I see true or is it just a hoax?

I have encountered telekinetic activity before though, or at least I think it was.

1st time:

When I was in fourth grade (About 7 years ago), we were sitting in the hall watching a movie. As I sat there on the hard floor, I began to wonder off, until something caught my attention. There on top of the TV was the video case for the movie (It was fly away home I belive), and it started spinning! At first I thought I was daydreaming, but then it happened again, slowly it turned around, once, twice, and then three times. When I told my friends they just laughed and said I was lying.

2nd time:

About 3 years ago, we was playing wall dodge ball at recess. Suddenly the bell rang, and we all began to rush inside. I stayed behind as I had to tie my shoe. Once I did that I noticed a dodgeball started floating in midair! At first I thought it was imagination again, but it was floating right there, once I approached it closer, it fell to the ground.

3rd time:

Around the same time as the dodgeball incident, we were sitting in class listining to the teacher talk about her vacation or something, when the TV turned on! At first we thought it was a trick or something. So the Tv was turned off, then when we went back to talking, the TV turned on again!

I know this sounds crazy, but its all true! I have practiced in anyway possible to use this, but I have had no luck... Can anyone tell me if telekinesis is possible, or if its all a hoax.

Hmm, I'd suggest seeing your local psychiatrist.

I'm pretty sure things can't move or float on their own. That's just the way the laws of physics work.

Not every thing can be explained by science! We just think inside the box, but have you wondered if this is possible?! I mean we believe we cant do this stuff because reality tells us this! But what if reality is wrong? What if telekinesis is actually possible?

By transmitting ultra sonic waves from your mind, to another object, you could possibly maniulate the molecules and enable it to float in mid air! Im not for certain its like that, but there is surely way! Mankind has not learned everything my friend...

Our mind doesn't have ultra sonic waves. In any case, the electrical impluses from our bodies are too minuscule to affect much outside, let alone physically move things.

1st time: Perhaps the video case was unbalanced somehow, or there was a slight wind. Even if your window isn't open, there could be air moving around the room, and the case is very light.

2nd time: Perhaps an illusion or some sort of mirage (heat wave). Or you were just exhausted from dodgeball and your eyes were playing tricks on you. These things happen. I once had to stand in the sun for a long time and suddenly everything in my vision turned yellow and watery.

3rd time: A loose signal, but not from anyone's brain. It could even be someone pranking. A specific command is needed turn a TV on and off, so it had to be from something programmed to emit that signal.

I suppose it's possible that telekinesis exists. As far as I know, we don't know the full extent of the human brain's capabilities. I'm not sure I can fully believe that, but I can't deem it impossible.

Szerizinade, if we all believed people like you, we would believe the earth to still be flat! Remember, when the people of england told christopher colombus that the earth was flat, but he wanted to prove them wrong. He did not at first, but then magellen sailed the whole world, and even though he died on his journey, his crew did in fact prove that the earth was flat.

Like deku kid said, we do not know for sure for all of the human capabilities! Humans could in fact use telekinesis, and who knows, maybe there is a way to harness are adreniline for super human strength, sometimes you have to look on the other side of things, remember if you have the mind of a child and the brain ofan adult, anything is possible!

Meh, I doubt if there really is such a thing as telekenesis. It would be cool if there was though. However, there probably is a logical explanation. Here's a few examples.

1. Whenever the TV is turn off, the little shelbie toy on top of it sings a song. It gets rather annoying, and it seemed scary at first. We had no idea what was making the noise, or why it only did it half the time. It turns out that when the TV was turned off, it sent some sort of waves through the toy when it was on certain channels.

2. We would be watching TV, and suddenly it would start changing channels. It was creepy because no one was near the remote or playing with the buttons. My brother was playing a Star Wars game at that time, and it had a little gun. It appears that everytime he missed the target he would hit the TV, which made it change channels.

Almost everything has a logical explanation. You just have to look below the surface, and look around you. It might be completely unrelated, but there's going to be a reason.

i belive telekinesis is real cos once a few years back my bedroom door closed just as i looked at it, I know I know you say the wind but it wasnt the wind cos my widows were closed and when my windows are closed there is to much presure in my room to close my door esaly and now your gonna say a pet did it but there were no animals in there and sometimes i see the very near future like i saw my little brother going to his seat to get something then he did it exactly as i saw him do it so any non-belivers belive now cos my story is air tight *moves mouse with telekinesis*

Scientist always believe there is a logical explanation to everything, but is there a logical explanation of god, jesus, mozis and jonah? are the scientists going to prove this a hoax too! Wre betraying the 10 commandments, we cannot live without jesus and god!

There are some things scientists cant explain, ghosts, telekinesis, twin physcics, the lochness monster, abomidible snowman, physcics itself, powers of the lord and bible storys, the bermuda triangle, many many things cant be explained with logictivity!

i hate people that think logical, there has to be something, even if it is scientific. I believe in ghosts and dragons (just huge dinosaurs with wings) so you never know, that is al weird, ninja. and the bermuda triangle, i believe, is caused by extremely high air pressure, what else could there be...

Aliens, magnectic fields, giant squids, no one knwos for sure.

As I was saying thinking logical cant always solve anything!

giant squids are real and aliens arent :O theyre just made up, but there are more life-forms out there, obviously, in infinite space.

I belive in this. Becuase ghosts...? What are they how can they be a concience if they are just particles of dust? Also that girl in Russia who has X-ray vision. It was belived she did have it after seeing through people and seeing there problems on many ocasions. How could she do this....? Just beucase there is a logical explination doesnt mean they are not true. I belive in all this.

Has anyone ever read the magazine Fortien Times? If you belive in stuff like this you should read it.

Yes aliens have to exhist! sure they may not be little green men, but there has to be other intelligent life out there! god wouldnt just create us only, theres no sure proof aliens dont exhist!

Stop and think, there are more then 8 billion planets and even three times as many stars, surely there is other intelligent life out there!

Ummm, Ninja dude (why do I always call you that?) you were wrong about the bermuda triangle. Scientists have discovered that an air pocket of multiple gasses lies under the rocks at the bottom of the sea in that area. It destroys bouyoncy in the water, thus making ships sink. And the gas also raises into the air, speeding up rust, thus the reason why planes crash there. The gas also disrupts electromagnetic signals, meaning that radio doesn't work there.

As for telekinesis, I really don't know about that. I don't know if it's real or not, and I'm not picking sides.

When people believed that the Earth was flat, that's because it was a general belief that was not questioned much. There wasn't anything that inherently suggested that it was so. I'm not the type of person who dimisses everything out of the ordinary, at least, not without giving it my own thought first. I know there are many things scientists can't prove, but a good number of them can be explained somehow. For example, there isn't anything very paranormal about the lochness monster. It's simply an animal that either doesn't exist or is very elusive. There's nothing illogical about that. The giant squid, which used to be a myth, is actually real.

Physics can be explained, to an extent. Magnetic fields are caused by movement of electrons, I think. Ghosts might be some form of unknown energy, or exist in a different phase or dimension. God could be a higher-level lifeform, or a real divine god. It hasn't been proven, but I don't say He is impossible.

Back to telekinesis. Aren't we quite aware of our own bodies? We aren't a mystery to ourselves. Don't you think neurologists would have discovered something powerful like telekinesis? Our brain waves are tiny, and probably can't travel through air.

I don't believe in telekinesis, because I don't see how it's possible in the least. You can't just claim it's possible, there has to be a scientific explination.

Though your TV turning on and off story reminds me of a trick some kids in my science class played on a substitute a few years back. One kid had a palm-pilot-like device which he could turn the TV on and off with, change chanels, go from video to cable TV on, and rewind and forward a video tape with. We were watching a boring video, which the kid started to make it rewind. To the lay man, it appeared that the TV was rewinding by itself, because he was opperating the palm pilot under his table. Our sub started freaking out, when the kid changed the chanel to Dora the Explorer. The sub kept putting it back on the video tape, but it kept turning to Dora the Explorer or rewinding. The kid also turned it off and on some. The sub finally declaired she had absolutly no idea what was going on, and everyone in the class (we all knew it was just the kid with the palm pilot) claimed it was a ghost and that the room had always been haunted, and that this happened a lot.

We never told her the truth, but she did write a letter to our real teacher about the bizzare TV in the room. Our real teacher just laughed, because he also knew about the palm pilot.
