I hope this is the right place for this...

Anywho, in this thread, what I think would be fun, is to paste a photo of yourself, then use this website (provided by the fabulous Lady Lioness for me) to make a 'doll' of yourself.

In order to make a doll as similar to you as possible, simply click whether you are going to make a male or female character, and use the 'tabs' near the center-top of the page to choose the features, to reconstruct a faithful version of yourself.
You can even do other members if you wish - just as long as you know what they really look like

Here is my example...of me.
In the best case, the photo supplied would be full-bodied, but here is a quick example with my head ;



Simple!
Also - feel free to critique other peoples' works, constructively mind

That program is hard to use! I prefer the sims...

Not exactly a full body shot...But oh well

My full body shot is really small...but...yeah...and I don't have my glasses in my real life picture...and the glasses selection on the site was severely lacking.

Yeah, the program does have its...moments, sorry about that, heh!
As for the full body shot - it's not really a 'must -have' it's just so people can compare, your picture is fine ^_^

I hope she dosen't mind, but here is my version of Lady Sadida, with her new hair style.



These are the clothes I imagined her wearing in the picture...that came out very wrong! :embrsd:

thanks but you know its weird.......in the boy maker.......theres like all these girl type things for the doll....are they mixed together 'cause it took me forever to find the hair that i used for me "doll"

Man. It took me forever to find the right eyes and why is there no black hair? Oh, well. This is the best I could come up with using those limited hairstyles. Not a full body shot, sorry.

How do you get the doll onto ZU? I still haven't figured that out...

After you make your doll, look near its' feet, and you see threee small boxes.
Hover your mouse above the boxes until you find the one that says 'Save to Disk' and click it.
Click save in the box that comes up.
Then use Photobucket, or whatever uploading program you have to upload the doll, then copy and paste the image here

Again, the doll is brilliant - hee, you gotta love the new dolly community!

EDIT: In addition to the features you customize, you can also alter the skin tone to be coloured - click the 'face tab' and go to the last of the options, you will see a very large face much darker than the normal dolls' skin colour - click that to colour the skin .

Hey SD! I've been fiddling round with my doll thingy and I can't figure out if you can change the skin colour. I'm a tanned chick and I was trying to find a way to make my character have tanned skin. Is this possible? If so, can you tell me how I can do it? Someone told me that I couldn't do it, but I thought that I'd run this question by you as well
