Girls and their *rules*

So, girls have these rules that most guys know nothing about. I am one of them. but my question is are these rules even all that mighty. One of them is like "Never date someone who one of your friends has a crush on." but is this not a faulty question in it's self. to prove this I want to name a few people Mr. X Mrs.Y and Mrs.Z. Ok so heres how it goes: One night Mrs. Y decideds that she should go date MR.X Mr.X declines her offer and later that night begins dating MRs.Z Mrs.Z is friends with Mrs.Y and knew that she liked MR.X But the same went for Mrs. Y as she knew that Mrs. Z liked Mr.X Now who is in the wrong?They both knew the other lliked Mr.X and Mr.X only liked Mrs.Z.

I gotta tell you, I do not think that a thing that all girls do even exist, except for breathing, and stuff like that.

I was trying to mock the way she made it sound up there, I do realise that not all girls have the same rules, I also apologise to you that don't follow them and feel offended or those of you that do and feel ofended

I know several girls that follow "rules" in dating, friendship, and other things. I once talked to a friend of mine that followed these rules. She told me about some that I can't really remember now.

Well, I don't think that there are unwritten rules that we women all follow, but I for one would not date a guy if my friend was into him. Why? Just a personal belief of mine. However, I do know some girls who wouldn't think twice about dating a friends crush. So I differ from them. They have their rules and I have mine.

I know a lot of girls who follow stupid rules like that. in fact, there are even books on them, saying exactly which hour to call someone if they gave you their number, and all these pointless things that ritualize dating.

my one rule: don't date a girl who follows those rules.

No matter the gender, that sort of situation is awkward. But people react to them in different ways. To some girls, not going out with your friend's crush is a sign of friendship, that you'd choose your friend over a guy. Some girls find it polite to at least ask or tell their friend before going out with her crush (or else it may seem like backstabbing). Some girls don't hold dating as a high priority and don't even think about these matters. It's just a certain "etiquette" that some people value more than others, that's all.

Rofl! but in my origonal post at the very top I asked a hypothetical question. What are your guys feelings on it. Also I would like to know what XD means, I know I'm such a n00b! lol I've been wondering for quite some time

once i had and English teacher and he told us his version of men and women in a nutshell:

let's say that you have a girlfriend ok... now you and your friend are gonna meet her and her friend at 5 at her house... ok so it's 4:30 and you and your friend should leave soon to pick up your girlfriend but your friend says: "let's play a couple more games!" so you play and are late and end up arriving at 5:30 at her house... no what has her friend been telling her all this time? "oh they've forgotten about us and they don't respect us and i can't believe he would do this to you... blah blah blah" so when you finally show up a half an hour late what does she say? "where have you been? why are you so late?" and so of course you are gonna defend yourself by saying "hey come on! it's just a half hour it's not that big of a deal!... now what does her friend do? "don't you talk to your girlfriend like that! show her respect! you can't treat her that way! rarr rarr rarr blah blah blah" and what does your friend do?.......

nothing

and if he's smart... he takes one slow quiet side step over to stand by your girlfriends friend.

nothing again

this is why it happens this way: because women have some sort of strange mysterious bond that men will never understand or get...

and your friend knows... that there is a chance... maybe small maybe not... that somehow someday somewhere there is a possibility that either of these two women might sleep with one of you and he wants to look better that you do.
