Re: Compuer History..

If you're using FireFox, head to tools, click on options, then head to privacy, and go click on the clear button next to history, to clear your history.

Re: Compuer History..

Uh...wow. Are you using Internet Explorer? Or Mozilla Firefox? If you aren't using either of those, then I can't help you there because I have no knowledge of other browsers.

Re: Compuer History..

Oh ok. Then first head to tools, then at the bottom click on internet options. In the general tab, go down to history and click on clear history. Simple as that.

Re: Compuer History..

First set the "days to keep history" or whatever it's called to 0.
That will help with the scroll bar thing.
Otherwise, clear history in internet options works just fine usually.
Also, go to START, PROGRAMS, ACCESORIES, SYSTEM TOOLS, and do both the Disk Defragment and full Disk Cleanup.

Re: Compuer History..

Spyware'd. Well, that's my guess. I've heard it can do all kinds of weird things to IE.

There should be an option in Tools > Internet Options where you can "Turn off AutoComplete". That might just do it.

Re: Compuer History..

Your problem is autocomplete. It's still on.

Tools>Options>Content>AutoComplete

Uncheck as needed, Clear Forms (Those drop-downs menus you're talking about) and Clear Passwords (If desired).

I do this ALL the time.

Go to history, find what you want you want to delete, and then click on it with the button on the mouse you don't usually use (Hey, I don't know if you're using a right or left handed one) and then click delete

Re: Compuer History..

Okay, you need to delete your temporary internet explorer files, not your history, to get rid of that. You can find it in interent options, I think, but I haven't done it in a while. Trust me I know from experience, because I look up porn all the time. But I suggest you be careful around porno websites, because some have bad viruses that will screw your computer up. I know this from experience also.
