We humans might be extinct in 2014. Astronamers say that a killer asteroid might colide in the earth making us extinct. Do you think we'll die? I do.

Those news come like, every month.. And each time, we all be dead in 2-1400 years..

This has been discussed in public and in the press many times. It wasn't true before, and i don't think it's true this time either. These are just theories, no actual proof has yet been shown, so no, i don't believe it's gonna happen.

Well im going to the hospital and see if i can't be put to sleep just in case. Why in the hel* did dad bring that up AT DINNER TIME?????

If it is true, you have seen waaaaaaaaay to much television...

It will come close but the odds of it hitting earth are 1:1,000,000. So it isn't going to hit Earth, there is nothing to be afriad of until Hindmost kills you all.

actually we're lucky we arn't dead yet, we are about the size of a molecule when it comes to the whole universe, and whatever is beyond that. there are trillions of things out there that could just fling off course, and no scientist could say that we can stop it, unless we have the wonderful technology like in the movie armageddon. I would go if i had nothing else to do at the time, sure, go blow up an asteroid, save the planet, get the girl ur, wrong movie.

I have complete confidence in the asterioid missing the Earth. Why? They have every other time, often by several light years.

Still, the movie Deep Impact did make the threat a little more real.

its not gonna happen while we're alive, but even if it did, i wouldnt fear death if i knew everyone else was going to die too.

December 23, 2012 i had it in my sig a few day ago.... They were only off by 2 years give the Mayans a break! Actually 2 years ago my history class planned a party at my house for December 22, 2012. I guess if anyone from here wanted to come to they could, considering you all know now, but you have to find me first.

Stuff flies directly at the Earth every day. Asteroids, mostly. Miniscule ones that burn up in the atmosphere. Then there's cosmic dust. That burns up as soon at it touches the atmosphere. There's other stuff too. Basically, the sun is more of a threat to us than asteroids, with its ultraviolet rays of death.

Bleh, we won't be around forever. Another few billion years and the sun will either become a black hole (not likely), supernova, or something
